The Life Message

Pastor Solo Mwania from Lincoln City Church in Lincoln, Nebraska, brings us an encouraging word about becoming an overcomer.

The gospel is Jesus, and Jesus died for everyone, rose from the dead for everyone. God sent Christ to die for everyone. No one is left out of the redemptive reach of the gospel of Christ. The heart of Jesus is arms wide open to everyone: high achievers who run out of rungs, low achievers who run out of hope, elderly running out of time and the young running out of alternatives.

Jesus makes bold claims that could be fulfilled only if He was and is the Son of God, the only God! Jesus makes bold claims that no other person has ever made. Jesus clearly states that He is the only way to God – there is no other way. The claims Jesus made are irrefutable – impossible to refute, disprove or deny.

The gospel is the good news that Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sin so that we could be redeemed. Our salvation is in Jesus; nothing else and no one else. It’s all in Jesus. We never outgrow the gospel. We spend a lifetime loving Jesus and being changed by Him.

The gospel is so simple yet so powerful. This series will take you back to the basics of the gospel, show how Jesus is unquestionably the most remarkable person ever who even personifies the gospel, and show you that the gospel is for everyone.

Growing stronger necessitates going deeper into our walk with God. Going deeper means we understand that spiritual disciplines are not optional but are absolutely the road to growing stronger. Why do so many of us feel as if we just have not grown very much in the likeness of Christ? We must make converts into disciples, people who are spiritually transformed.

Marketplace and workplace mission is that passion that starts when God connects your job, your business, and your life purpose into one package. It is you doing your dream in the workplace with the purpose of having influence in people’s lives for Christ. We must have a biblical basis for expanding the kingdom of God into all areas of society.

The enemy of our soul has certain patterns and repetitions in his attacks. If we are caught unprepared, unarmed, asleep and negligent, then we will fall prey to his strategies. Let us awake and put on the armor of God now, today. Don’t wait another moment!

All around us there is a battle taking place in the spiritual realms over our homes, our cities, our nations, and the nations of the world. Through the spirit we can become aware of this battle and know how to live in victory rather than in defeat. The dynamic of the battle and how to be strong in battle is vital for our complete victory.

Even as there are seasons of storms, high winds, and floods in the natural, there are also seasons of storms in the spiritual. We are called to go deeper with God, put our roots down, and grow strong in the midst of it all. Going deeper will make us stronger and enable us to give all to God. Our past, our present, our future, we leave everything in God’s hands.
