There is no doubt that in the heart of every human, there is a search going on for meaning. We might cover that urge or dull it's cutting edge but it is still there.
But this begs the question: Why is it that most people fail to live a life of meaning? There is no doubt that it's what they want. But why do they fail? Listen to this.

The paradox in life is that at times we don't experience that which we desire and don't live the kind of life we want even if the possibility is there.
That's why we have very many folks who fail to live their purpose in life even if they wanted. It's a common phenomenon. What we need to figure out is: why is that the case?

The world today is transformed through our collective effort. I do believe that the role of the family in societal transformation should be highlighted even more. When we begin to have these conversations, we begin to capture the vision of purpose driven families.
It shouldn't be a foreign thing for a family to have a transformation vision for the community. It should start being normal. Here are the several ways we can build such a family.

If you are building a Purpose-driven family, then it follows that the family has to be involved in it. Purpose and vision are spiritual and the way they are transferred to others is through different ways.
In one way, vision and purpose are caught when passion is involved in it. On the other hand, the family gets this vision and purpose when they are privy to it's working through and through.

Identity precedes character for the most part. One of the things that drives out identity is what we choose to place premium value upon. If you value sacrifice, then your actions will be called up commensurate to that value.
It therefore follows that in building a purpose-driven family, identity of family values will be instrumental for success. Listen to this.

The greatest sin a family can commit is to compare one member of the family to another and find one of them wanting at least using that yardstick of comparison. It is sinister to say the least. However, due to purpose ignorance, this case is prevalent the word over.
In building a purpose driven family, one needs to balance between the vision of the family and the individual purpose and passion of each member. Listen to this.

What we need to answer is this: does a family need to have the capacity to deploy it's purpose before they can be a purpose-driven? In other words, one might ask: what's the reason for downloading a huge purpose for the family if you cannot fulfill it?
In this episode, that question is succinctly answered and in addition, we also show you the second way you can built a purpose-driven family. Listen to this.

No. It's not going to happen arbitrarily. The fact that a purpose-driven family is the ideal to have doesn't mean that it will happen by itself. It is possible to have the whole family live purposeless and still have some semblance of success, but that way, something is always missing.
For a purpose-driven family, we will have to be intentional about it. When we get intentional, we realize then that it has always been possible to do it all along. Here is where we need to start from. Listen to this.

What I am advocating for is not a foreign ideology. Purpose driven families are not a thing of the West or the modern world. If anything, the modern world has moved away from Purpose driven families to just being independent and purposeless.
Now more than ever is the time to craft our families to have an agenda in society that is far reaching above the normal survival and nurturing. Listen to this.

Imagine if it was a natural thing for families to have a mandate beyond nurturing children. Imagine if the purpose of a family had far reaching impact in society and at times even in the world? And no, I am not just talking about business, but impact all spheres.
Wouldn't that change stuff a bit? I think we need to start having these serious Conversations as we go along. Here is my argument in this episode, check it out.
