As Lily continues investigating the mysterious Candlemaker's Daughter file, she has a visit from Levi, chats with Grimm, and goes to see Ella--taking the first step in her ambitious Cinderella Theorem. Calo's older brother stops by to share important news.

Lily examines Cinderella's file and creates the Cinderella Theorem. Then she investigates the Candlemaker's Daughter and discovers an important clue.

In the aftermath of Levi messing with the alarm clocks, Lily rushes to school, completely forgetting about her assignment for Legendary Literature. She begins The Cinderella Theorem, an unusual project. While doing some research for it, she uncovers interesting and unexpected information.

Lily and Calo chat/argue about Happiness and how best to manage it in their clients. In typical Smythian fashion, Lily's weekend does not go as planned.

Lily makes a wish, meets a friend, and learns about the kingdom's geography and weather. 

Lily completes her first week of work at HEA, learning even more about the science of measuring and monitoring Happiness. Calo arranges for her to have some practice in making an actual citizen Happy. 

Lily and her parents process what happened with Morgan. She finds herself--uncomfortably--getting a little closer to her father. Greasy Levi reaches out as well.

Lily has her first afternoon of work as a Happiologist, but an unexpected thing happens when she helps Calo with Morgan Le Faye.

Lily is shocked by another revelation from her parents. Then she attends a ball held in her honor during which she is annoyed by a late arrival and accidentally dances with an enemy.

Lily spends her first full day in the kingdom. She gets a little lost, stumbles upon a mystery, and is officially presented to the populace. However, an uninvited guest crashes the party.
