Inflation is hitting the American consumer on all fronts. It's frustrating to walk into a store or pull up the pump, and the same product now costs 25% more. But if what we told you there was a silver lining and you could actually use inflation to your advantage?
Meet Bronson Hill, Founder and President of Bronson Equity; he's on the podcast today to talk about the power of income-producing assets, specifically real estate.
Born out of a desire to make his money work harder for him and achieve true passive income, Bronson turned his attention to real estate investing. Fast-forward several years, and he has 20x his net worth and is now coaching and teaching other professionals how to leave their jobs and reach their investment goals. He also shares his method of buying assets using debt that can actually help you come out ahead in the long run.
If you're looking for true financial freedom - and an opportunity to use the current economic state to your advantage, you won't want to miss this episode.
What you'll learn:
Favorite Quote:
"How you really use inflation to your advantage is you buy assets using debt - even though interest rates have risen a little bit - so over time, you pay off these debts for these income-producing properties or assets with money that is worth less; the asset is worth more because you're paying off in future dollars. There's not much that can't be automated these days. But in our quest for efficiency and cost-saving solutions, we've forgotten a very crucial aspect of business relationships: Human connection.
The days of the liquid lunch are long gone; deals are made through online exchanges -- not over a drink and some conversation downtown. In this episode of The Liquid Lunch Project, Matt and Luigi sit down with Bryan Kramer, business coach, speaker, author, and CEO of PureMatter. To Bryan, "being human" is THE biggest competitive advantage - yet, many business owners are removing their "humanness" from the equation.
But people still crave connection. And it's those companies that go above and beyond to cross the digital divide to connect with their costumers on a human level that will come out as victors in the end.

As a teenager, Darren Paltrowitz started writing for music publications in exchange for free albums and concert tickets. Having been at it for over 20 years, Darren has seen the music industry go through a lot of changes. One of the biggest changes has been how artists get paid. They used to tour in order to promote their album, which was their biggest moneymaker. Now, an album is usually just an excuse to tour, where they make money off of tickets and merchandise, all while growing their influence. Then they take that influence and start side hustles, from fashion to alcoholic beverages.
The music industry has done a great job at consolidating and reinventing itself. Many artists are cutting out the middleman and using social media to promote themselves. They've even tapped into things like Kickstarter, where fans are funding the production of an album. Groups like AC/DC have gotten good at making money off of a younger generation that may not even know any of their music, simply by creating a cool brand and image. In fact, t-shirts have become far more lucrative than albums. Tapping into various streams of passive income, artists have become very business savvy over the years.

There's no doubt about it, Airbnb's have disrupted the real estate market. John Bianchi of Point Analytics says this new industry has made homes into a different asset class. John first got into the industry when he rented out an extra room in his house as a short term rental. When he found that he could cover his entire rent and then some, it was obvious to him that there was something to this. As he looked into the viability of Airbnb's as a business, John started managing other people's Airbnb's for them. He had a keen understanding of what it took for a profitable Airbnb, starting with which homes to select. John began to notice that most other people trying to get into the industry didn't have this understanding, and so he created a YouTube tutorial.
John was eventually picked up by one of the biggest short term investment companies, where he works as the data guy. There are a lot of things he looks for when making recommendations of properties to invest in. From major metropolitan areas to vacation destination cities, the number one thing to consider is, is there a demand in that market, a reason for people to come to the area? A big mistake some Airbnb investors make is not looking into regulations for short term rentals, as every state, city, county, and HOA has different rules. There's a lot of data that goes into creating a successful Airbnb, to find out how John can help you, email him at [email protected] to book your free 15 minutes consultation.

Struggling to read in the 5th grade, ST Rappaport went to tutor after tutor but still remained stuck. As a last resort, a cognitive function specialist was brought in. Not only did ST's reading improve, so did her confidence, her productivity, and so much more. She was blown away by the success of rewiring her brain and knew it was something she had to be involved in. At the age of 17 she started training in cognitive function. Now, at the age of 23, she's a successful productivity coach helping entrepreneurs to rewire their brains for efficiency and effectiveness.
For anyone that hasn't read the book The Growth Mindset by Helen Glasgow, ST highly recommends it. The book dives into what makes people successful, and, spoiler alert, it isn't money, IQ, or anything of that sort. Success lies in a person's mindset. They can either have a fixed mindset, or a growth mindset. Developing a growth mindset is the first step to success. ST helps people to do this through her LifePix University. She promises the experience to be 100% customized to each individual person and what they're trying to achieve. Beyond that, ST hosts a podcast by the same name.

I bet you didn't realize there's a right and wrong way to use your brain. Today's guest, Liam Naden shares how he went from a multimillionaire to homeless by using his brain incorrectly. Luckily, he was able to bounce back by tapping into the right way to use his brain. Now, he's developed a neuro state rebalancing protocol to help others to do the same.
So many of us live in a state of stress or anxiety. By doing so, we're literally blocking our brain from being the best we can be. Stress is the cause of most, if not all, disease. The brain uses more energy than any other organ in the body, and it can't be in survival mode and creative mode at the same time. Every once in a while it's necessary for survival mode to kick in, but we're meant to spend almost all of our time in creative mode. Creative mode is where new ideas, gut feelings, and motivation come from. It's responsible for being resourceful, seeing the big picture, and creating the right external environment.

Moving from a small town in South Dakota, Paul Halme planned to train in Jiujitsu in Dallas, TX. Instead, he met his wife and felt like he needed to get a corporate job. He ended up in stock brokering, and continued to train on the weekends. He ended up taking the leap into entrepreneurship and started training others on the side. One year, Paul's wife found a space for rent and encouraged Paul to open his own gym. Once that got some traction, Paul quit his day job on the stock market.
Having never won any competitions, Paul was still successful because he knew how to market and manage other instructors. He ended up writing the book How To Make Money With Your Martial Arts Gym: Even If You Haven't Won Anything Yet. A lot of people started asking Paul for help and advice, so he turned his sights on consulting. Now, Paul focuses mostly on consulting while managing the managers that run his gyms.

The small business viking, Roy Osing, joins the show today to discuss what business owners can do in order to thrive. His upcoming book, Be Different or Be Dead, shines a light on the biggest challenge companies of all sizes are facing. With a billion businesses to choose from, how does a company differentiate themselves in the market? Roy says it can be done by making one simple statement, he calls it 'the only' statement. He encourages companies to think about what they're truly good at, what's unique about them. He says if you can't figure that out, your business is as good as dead.
Every company should be able to fill in the blank of: we are the only ones that ___________. That statement will definitively tell people why they should do business with you over another company. However, don't feel like your work is done once you've figured that out. The world is always changing, and so your 'the only' statement will have to be able to shift along the way. In addition to that, Roy says to set bold objectives, as they'll really help in fueling your innovation.
