The people of Israel left captivity in Egypt headed to Canaan, the Promised Land. They did not know what they were going to eat. Each day God provided them manna, or bread from heaven (Exodus 16: 15) and quail, to save them from starvation or to save them. It was the same thing meal after meal, year after year. This was done for the 40 year period they were in the desert. But, once they crossed into the Promised Land, they had a new menu, a new diet. It was to eat from the fruit of the land, the land God told them they would inherit. A land flowing with milk and honey. A prosperous land. It was then that the manna stopped.
God may stop the manna in your life to lead you to a more abundant blessing. A new menu, a new diet. As we leave behind our old life and enter into a closer relationship with God, he has better food for us, a different diet that not only sustains us but saves us. This message will help you move into your blessings.
