Kenya's journey didn't begin as a successful CEO.
She was a **single mother raising two children**, working multiple jobs, building a career in education, and trying to make ends meet while battling unhappiness, unhealthy relationships, emotional wounds from her childhood, and her own struggles along the way.
She spent nearly 20 years in education. She built a DJ business on the side. She eventually reached what should have been her “dream job” in the school system.
But something was still missing.
Kenya realized that changing her income wasn't enough. She had to change her **mindset, habits, environment, and belief in what was possible for her life**.
That decision eventually led her into entrepreneurship and the behavioral health industry—even though she wasn't a therapist, clinician, or substance-abuse counselor.
When COVID changed the world in 2020, Kenya began building her behavioral health business while still working in education. She learned the licensing process, accreditation, staffing, systems, policies, procedures, and business infrastructure necessary to open a behavioral health practice.
And when people told her the process would be too difficult and take too long, she kept moving.
She says she was able to complete the process in **less than 90 days**.
Today, Kenya has built multiple businesses and is taking everything she learned to help other aspiring entrepreneurs understand the **business side of behavioral health**—from launching and licensing a practice to hiring qualified professionals, building systems, developing leadership, and scaling.
