God has issued an invitation to the greatest celebration that will ever exist. It is an offer of a lifetime. An offer of paradise, forgiveness, peace and eternity. Yet, as Pastor Danny will explain today, too many people are simply too caught up in life to accept the invitation. Too many things, good things, fill up your life so that you can’t see beyond them to the incredible future to come. Don’t allow the things in this life lull you into a complacency so that you can’t see your need for Heaven. Accept Jesus’ incredible invitation!

Yet, instead of doubt she embraced God’s will and plan for her life and felt blessed to be so favored by God. Today, Pastor Danny will encourage you to have a similar love for God as Mary. Her faith and trust in God was so great, she was willing to suffer the disgrace her situation brought her. God changed the life of this humble servant and honored her forever. Is your love for God greater than all things?

Jesus had serious warnings for his disciples, knowing they’d struggle in certain ways. He pointed out the Pharisees – religious on the outside but full of hidden sin, and Herod – living in outright rebellion to God. He warned them to avoid these things. Pastor Danny will point out today how these things will eventually ruin you and your walk with God. God doesn’t want your sin, either hidden or blatant, to ruin you! He wants you to walk in his light, free and forgiven! He wants to grow you and bless you in unbelievable ways!

Growth in Christian maturity is sometimes very slow because believers tend to focus on circumstances instead of spiritual matters. Pastor Danny challenges you to evaluate where your focus is at today. Take your focus off what you need physically and turn to God instead. Learning to trust God in all things is foundational to your faith. If you can learn to give him your whole life and trust him with it, He will provide all you need. And as you focus on him and seek his kingdom first above other needs, he will faithfully provide.

There’s no denying that Satan has great influence over individuals in the bible. Jesus cast out many demons. Yet, one thing is clear – there is a great power in Jesus that Satan can’t come close to. And he gives that power to those who believe in him. Today, Pastor Danny explains that the influence of even just one who’s been radically freed from bondage by the power of Jesus is enormous. There’s great power in speaking of what Jesus has done for you. Allow your story of freedom to change others!

One great mistake believers make is to deny the power and influence of Satan. He’s real and he’s powerful, though limited, by God. And Satan takes pleasure in influencing believers to stray from God towards evil. Today, Pastor Danny will exhort you to be on guard. Don’t allow the devil a foothold in your life which can easily become a stronghold. Stay away from things that open you up to the enemy, like false doctrine or willful disobedience to God. Instead, take your thoughts captive and stay close to Jesus.

Some sins are incredibly enticing and hard to let go of. This is especially true if you feel that these particular sins are not that bad of a sin. However, refusal to acknowledge sin and repent is a barrier between you and God. Today Pastor Danny discusses that whatever you can’t or won’t repent of holds you captive. It keeps you from a loving God who longs to forgive you. You resist the gift of grace that Jesus offers. Instead, in humility, confess your sins and change! You will receive grace and forgiveness!

The Pharisees were a group who thought themselves perfect. They were righteous by their own measurements. However, John the Baptist taught that everyone needs to repent of sin, even the Pharisees. Today Pastor Danny will explain how you need to recognize your need to confess and repent and rely on the forgiveness of your savior. If you confess your sin Jesus forgives you! Baptism won’t save you. Religious heritage won’t save you. Obedience to rules won’t save you. Only faith in Jesus saves you!
