Our God is a merciful God. He hates sin and His heart breaks over every soul that chooses to reject His extension of grace through His Son, Jesus Christ. As Pastor Danny will remind you in today’s message, Christ could return at any time and cut off all those that refuse to repent, but instead He tarries, allowing more time for the world that He loves to come to Him. Even after His second coming, though He has every right to withhold His grace, He will accept and redeem those that turn to Him.

In the age of industrialized war, the scope of carnage we’ve seen as a result of World Wars and the constant devastation that terrorism has inflicted through our world is both disgusting and heartbreaking. It’s the opposite of what God desired for His Creation. As Pastor Danny warns in today’s message, as bad as things have been, as the end nears, they are only going to get worse. The good news is, if you are in Christ, He will call you to your eternal home and spare you from that time of tribulation.

Your prayers are like incense to your Father in Heaven. They are like a sweet smelling fragrance to Him, and He loves to fulfill your requests and petitions. Often times, however, we feel like God is either ignoring our prayers or just outright denying them. As Pastor Danny continues our exploration of the book of Revelation, we are reminded of how important our prayers are to God. He cherishes them, and as we read in today’s passage, God will ultimately fulfill every request that fits within His will.

The book of Revelation reveals as much about God’s judgment as it does about His mercy and grace. To a world that wants to experience the pleasure of sin, but isn’t willing to take the consequences, this book may sound cruel. But, as Pastor Danny explains in today’s message, the very fact that God hasn’t brought judgment on us is evidence of His patience and compassion. He longs for every man and woman, including you, to come into His redemption, and He has already given us more time than we deserve.

The life of an End-times ready believer is one of continuous preparation and alertness. Scripture tells us that Jesus will come like a “thief in the night”. We can probe the words of Revelation, looking for clues, but even with a comprehensive understanding, we still can’t know precisely when our Savior will return. All we can do, as Pastor Danny encourages us in today’s message, is make sure our lives are focused on preparing ourselves and those around us for that glorious day.

Through the years, there has been much confusion amongst believers over the prophecy contained in the book of Revelation. One commentator or pastor can have a completely different understanding of the timeline, events and locations than another. As Pastor Danny will remind us in today’s message, this subject should not cause division in the Church. We need to approach it with a desire not only to find truth, but to love each other and keep unity with each other in Christ through our disagreements.

If only we had the heart of Paul. It may seem impossible, but when we abandon our old nature and allow Christ to transform us, it can be a reality. As Pastor Danny will remind us in today’s message, Paul’s heart was so focused on glorifying God that he forfeited his own goals and desires if they didn’t align with his mission to spread the Gospel. There was nothing special about him – it was God who enabled him because he died to his selfless nature and submitted himself fully to His will.

The church at Laodicea might sound familiar to us in the American church. Many of us are very comfortable. We love God and we love our religion - It’s a part of who we are. But, many of us have lost our passion for Christ. We are stuck in the routine and we rarely step outside of our comfort zones. As Pastor Danny explains in today’s message, this place of complacency disgusts God. He wants more for us than mediocrity and half-heartedness. He wants us all in.

We like to try to carry on under our own strength, by the light of our own reason, but we inevitably find ourselves failing and exhausted. As Pastor Danny encourages us in today’s message, our all-knowing, all-powerful Father in Heaven has a will and purpose for us. You simply need to take the time to listen, and then act upon His guidance, and He will lead you down a road that will be full of spiritual and eternal success. It will not be easy, but it will all be worth hearing Him say, “Well done.”
