When people criticized Jesus they said that he was a friend to tax collectors and sinners. I want to be criticized for the same things Jesus was! I want religious people to chafe when they are around me, and I want broken people to find God's love in me. So what about you? Who is comfortable around you? Who are your friends?

Pastor Danny is going to show us today that the religious leaders of the day were far more concerned with their own status and with the rules that they set up then they were in walking in relationship with God, but then Jesus came in. The one who walked in perfect harmony with God and showed the world what it is truly like to love others. The world we're living in is a cold and heartless place, but when Jesus comes in he brings all of the warmth from the love of God, soothes your pain, and calms your fears.

Pastor Danny is working his way through 1 John in his message and he is diving into the topic of sin. We tend to hide our sin. We hide it from the people around us and we try to hide it from God. Pastor Danny is going to dive into the reasons why we hide it. When it comes to our relationship with God we can't really hide anything anyway so now is a good time to take a look at the sin that we are hiding and then hand it over to God. The freedom that follows it is greater than anything you've ever known.
