It's all the internet can talk about... Madame Web. As someone who generally dislikes the superhero movie genre, I wasn't too interested until I heard how bad it was. And boy, were the critics of Twitter right! But in the best way. I haven't had this much fun in a theater in awhile (to be fair, I've seen a lot of Oscar or Oscar-adjacent movies lately an they're all pretty heavy). But still! Madame Web is iconic and I had a lot of thoughts. Listen to hear more.

Well after a whirlwind romance and many angry fans later, Taylor Swift and Matty Healy of The 1975 have broken up (pause for applause). This week, I'm here to break down for you why fans care, and why maybe caring that much can be a little dangerous. Follow us on Instagram @the.lodown.podcast, and on Tik Tok @chicken.fangers.
Well, it finally happened: Succession is over, and so is #1 boy Kendall Roy's life. This week we are joined by Newsweek reporter, friend of the podcast and Succession Superman Lauren Giella to talk about the Succession finale- whether it lived up to the hype, where we predict the characters will end up post-finale, and what to watch next now that we've said goodbye to Waystar Royco. Digressions include discussing The Other Two, Veep, and why appointment viewing of television has become essential to culture.
The culture is BUZZING right now! Breakups, new couples. drag queens winning and British kings losing. All is discussed in this episode! We cover Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn's breakup, the supposed new relationship between Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet, the new HBO Harry Potter series, Sasha Colby's win on Rupaul's Drag Race, and the acts performing at King Charles' coronation.
This week I'm joined by a very special guest- my best friend, my partner in crime, my big sister Ariel! We take a trip down memory lane and discuss the movies and television that raised us and shaped us into who we are today.
If your Twitter feed has been anything like mine the past 3 weeks, it's been all about Gwenyth Paltrow and how she lost half a day of skiing. For my girlies who weren't keeping up with the court room, here's the ~lo down~ on the whole ordeal, and why we're all just a little obsessed with Gwenny P.
One of the best parts of being a Taylor Swift fan is the myths behind the woman. Was the scarf a symbol for something greater? Do all the clues in the Bejeweled music video mean Speak Now (Taylor's Version) is coming soon? Is Wonderland about Harry Styles, or Dianna Agron? All this and more is discussed in our second Taylor Swift episode.
Just in time for the Eras tour to start, my friend Anastasia and I discuss our relationship to Taylor Swift- her impact on us, why her songs have so much meaning, and why we use her as a barometer for toxic men.
Today Deeksha and I are talking about two of our favorite romantic comedy tropes: Friends To Lovers and Enemies to Lovers! Digressions include New Girl (obvi), the fake dating trope, and why Adam from Sex Education is kind of okay.
