As fate would have it, a large group of like-minded community driven people found their way to the sleeping City of Joliet. There has been an awakening taking place here. You can find some great spots to eat and drink while listening to local musicians. There's even a few spots to see some well known acts, too. There have been top notch festivals suitable for the whole family that are just insane amounts of fun. The people putting all of these things together do it because they love it, and it shows. It all keeps getting better as more new businesses keep popping up. This podcast is here to let you know What's Goin' Down In Downtown J-Town.

We got back into the studio after a seven week break to interview John Simpson. This guy comes out to almost as many shows and events around here as I do. This guy was behind the New Orleans North festival that's held each year. He does a ton of event planning with Bicentennial Park along with The Joliet Chamber of Commerce. He's been a great help and a tireless supporter. Listen to what this man has to say about it

The Prison City Brigade contacted us to get on our show to promote their show at The Forge. At the moment I'm writing this to you all, the show is in three days. We encountered a ton of digital glitches. We would have had to redo the entire episode in order to remedy that. It was important to us to get this episode out in time for their show.  I went to Lincoln-Way High School with Craig Calderone, Jim Major, and TJ Oehmen(I actually called him by the wrong last name for about nineteen years. Awesome). They have had the opportunity to become a part of a music legend of the nineties, Green Jello. A guy named Bill Manspeaker was the mastermind behind the 1989 MTV music video, Three Little Pigs. He and guitarist Billy Youngblood were cool enough to call in via cell phone to join us on the show. Due to some technical difficulties, there is a massive amount of editing in this particular episode. You may notice one or two inconsistencies. We do apologize. It really was a great episode. It was really entertaining, and very adult....
