Happy Women's History Month! Starting the month with a bang! In this episode, I talk about the Girlboss mentality and why I personally do not subscribe to it. I share how I use to work myself to the ground to the point where I was physically abusing my body without realizing it. A full year later, I can confidently say that I do not subscribe to this lifestyle anymore. Instead, I share how I have prioritized taking a Sabbath (day of rest) every week. It has done me wonders! We also dissect why the Girlboss movement lacks particularly when it comes to intersectionality. This episode was very different for me to record, but I hope it resonates with you all!

Welcome back to another episode of The Locals Podcast, this week I had the amazing opportunity of interviewing Blythe Hill the founder of Dressember to talk about human trafficking and ethical fashion. Dressember is a fashion challenge that occurs every December where fellow advocates dress in either a tie or dress to help spread awareness while fundraising. This episode is inspiring and thought provoking all at the same time. Please take the time to look at the Dressember social network channels! Also, please consider donating to the link below.

We finally sat down to talk about her creative & academic life! This episode is great for people wanting to go to UCLA or just to hear 2 friends banter about college life! Such a conversational episode but one you'll resonate to heavily! Make sure to rate, review and subscribe!
