The following is on her website:
“She will fight to close corporate tax loopholes that allow
corporations to avoid paying billions of dollars in taxes.”
No corporation ever pays one cent in taxes no matter the
percentage. All corporate income taxes are, in essence sales taxes.
I shall be attending the premier of the horror movie Scary
Tales: Dark Walker this Saturday evening at the Holyoke Knights of Columbus.
I shall review and submit it to you.
It would be nice to know if you intend to run it.
Nadia Milleron is an independent running for Congress in the
First Massachusetts Congressional District against Richie Neal.
She has an interesting history as an activist not the least
in opposing Boeings failures that led to her daughter's death in a crash in
Ethiopia. Her efforts were courageous and tenacious and not without success. In
her work, Mr. Neal was less than helpful in the national legislature.
She spoke of her efforts to support domestic manufacturing
with trade barriers. Offshored medications have some dangers, so this is
important for people in this country.
Each administration has its problems. Citizens need to hold
elected official to account.
She spoke to General Electric's pollution and Richard Neal
was not stalwart on that issue while supporting foreign wars. Neal is well
funded by certain corporate interests.
She addressed the shortage of doctors. There is a bill to
increase number of doctors and Richie is absent.
Nadia acknowledges we can't afford the wars, and noted FEMA’s failure in the recent hurricane while wasting money on wars.
She makes case that we need to grow more food here.
It was a wide ranging discussion and we wish Nadia success.
