Fourth stop of the official leg today is Port Hedland, with Steve Mills broadcasting from inside his Jayco Outback Journey caravan.

He caught up with Patrik Malberg, BHP Lead Principal of the WA Communities team, whose company has a massive presence in the Pilbara region.

"We basically dig iron ore out of the ground, we rail it to Port Hedland and we ship it out to various customers, including our biggest customer which is China," he said.
