After a tough loss in Las Cruces, the Lopes bounced back with a statement victory at the CBU Events Center in front of a sold out crowd (largest in school history). Carlos Johnson (25 PTS & 6/6 FG) ignited a Lopes offense that would go on to set a record 103 points in regulation for the D1 era. We recap our thoughts and opinions from the game and what it was like to see this offensive performance in person.

After a 2-0 road trip, the Lopes returned to GCU Arena looking to build off their momentum in WAC play. A game that saw 50 fouls called, GCU was able to hold off the Seattle U offense just enough down the stretch to earn a hard fought victory.

The Lopes were led by impressive nights from Alessando Lever, Lorenzo Jenkins, Jovan Blacksher Jr. and Carlos Johnson (who surpassed 1000 career points on the night). With an upcoming matchup looming on Satuday with Utah Valley, GCU looks to continue to roll off an impressive stretch of victories.

Post game press conference audio today features Coach Majerle, Carlos Johnson and Lorenzo Jenkins.

The Lopes rolled into Chicago on their Midwest road trip taking the opening game 78-64 over the Cougars. Carlos Johnson is back, Mikey Dixon has arrived, and Ale...well he's just doing what he does. A much needed win was had and the guys recap the game, talk about Darion Clark's transition to the NFL, and speculate (way too early) about WAC Vegas and how it's shaping up.
