Machik has FLYING! Yes, he can now fly around everywhere (except those damn TBC zones that haven't been converted). He finished up WoD and just today finished up Broken Isles pathfinder. So what does Machik do with his new found freedom?

Main Topic - Warbringers Jaina

The new Warbringers: Jaina cinematic was released earlier this week, and Machik immediately fell in love with it. But as he perused the tweets and forum posts in reaction to this stunning media piece, he was dismayed. "Why," you ask? Because people don't understand the reason for the video. It's not a retcon. It's not supposed to share a ton of new information. It is what it is. A storytelling device to help make us understand Jaina.

So needless to say, Machik has much to say.

Machik has been a busy boy inside the game. Gravitating from one toon to another, he finally got stuck on an orcish warrior for a bit. Part of this could be attributed to reading Rise of the Horde, but could it have a deeper meaning. Is Machik truly an orc at heart?

Main Topic - Orcish Traditions

We all know about Mak'gora. We saw it happen during WoD between Thrall and Hellscream. But the orcs have other traditions as well. We look at Om'riggor and Kosh'harg this week. Without these traditions, orcish culture is a bit dull. But add in these orcish traditions and we have a complex society with a deep culture to roleplay.

This week as Machik travelled around Azeroth, he attacked Horde scum, entered into raids, and roleplayed near Menethil Harbor. Though his artifact weapon is now at full power, there is still plenty to do prior to the expansion dropping. And Machik is enjoying every minute of it.

Main Topic - Paladins of the Void

If you remember, last week we had an email questioning whether a Paladin of the Void would be possible. So we look at some of the lore history, and whether we could make it work. But rather than use the Naaru, we think maybe the Old Gods would be better suited to provide the darkness needed.

Machik started playing WoW when Cairne Bloodhoof was the leader of the Tauren in Thunder Bluff. He has fond memories of that peaceful and wise chieftain. So how did the Tauren become part of the Horde? We take a look at the history of Cairne up until his untimely death at the hands of Garrosh Hellscream.

Main Topic - Three Sisters

We check out what we assume to be the final comic before Battle for Azeroth drops in August. Called Three Sisters, the comic follows the Windrunner sisters as they meat to clear out their old homestead from nasty mobs. We learn a bit about the relationship between Sylvanas, Alleria and Vereesa, and of course, Machik harps on how Sylvanas continues to be a bastion of evil for the upcoming expansion.

Will anything change his mind? We currently doubt it.

Machik also harps on the art of the comic, but you'll have to listen for the specifics.

Much excitement with a new day for the live podcast. We will be moving to Fridays, though this week, due to a camping trip, Machik is hosting a Thursday podcast. His paladin continues to get strong and the roleplay stays fascinating. Of course, Machik loves all of Blizzard, so some Overwatch did have to happen this past week.

Main Topic - Jaina and Daelin Proudmoore

We go back to the first comic released this season, Jaina Reunion. Though the comic gives us a little bit of the past history of Jaina, what it really helps with is the foreshadowing of the new expansion. And how the Kul Tirans feel about Jaina. Which, sad to say, isn't too good.

From there we move on to Daelin Proudmoore, her father. Such an interesting history. A man consumed by hatred. And that hatred is his downfall.

Though we discussed the Earthen in TLCP #102, we stopped just short of going into the beginnings of the dwarven race. What were their first years like? How did their civilization grow? Why the hell did they decide to erupt into a civil war?

This week we take a peek at the first quest line in Kul Tiras. Jaina has a rough go as she is immediately taken as a prisoner of Kul Tiras, led by Lord Admiral Katherine Proudmoore. You heard that right, her mom took her prisoner. And what happens to you?

Well, you get tossed into jail to. Typical, all you are trying to do is be a hero for the Alliance, and you end up in prison. Listen to find out more about this quest line.

Welcome back once again to the LoreCraft Podcast. Though it's been two months since Machik brought you a podcast here, he has returned, healthier, happier, and enjoying WoW once again. He is partaking in the Beta, on both Alliance and Horde side. There is an excitement with the new expansion. Something that really holds true to the fight between the Alliance and Horde.

This week we take a look at the opening scenario, Battle for Lordaeron. Machik did the scenario on both Horde and Alliance side, and though there are some wonderful things, there are also some questionable decisions by Blizzard. Where are the Horde going?
