Machik returns. Again. Seems to be a habit. But I suppose that happens in this day and age. With so much going on and Machik getting old once again, it's been harder to keep the good fight going. But here we are again, talking about WoW. So let's get going!

Main Topic - Northrend's World Tree

Let's get to the point. Northrend had a world tree. Andrassil (now Vordrassil). A beautiful huge tree that helped to rid the Grizzly Hills and surrounding area of saronite. But like all things, there are sometimes consequences. Yogg-Saron was the consequence. The foul entities and essence of Yogg infused this world tree.

And it would topple it in the end.

Good versus evil. Mother versus son. Arcane versus fel. Aegwynn versus Medivh. This was a battle that would transform Karazhn and Medivh. Before The Burning Crusade. Before the Legion. Before the epic battles of our heroes and the raids we entered time and time again was Aegwynn and Medivh. Medivh, controlled by Sargeras, shortly after opening the dark portal. Aegwynn, sensing a major magical shift on Azeroth.

Main Topic - Lothraxion and Why We Love Roleplay

Lothraxion seems like an anomaly. A dread lord. Infused with light. It doesn't seem like it should work. But it does. And it bothers me. What is his story? How did he come to be a part of the army that is trying to destroy the legion? I'm not sure. And what can I do about it? Nothing.

On the other hand, I talk a little bit about love for roleplay. And we get to hear what why others love roleplay so much.

Introduction and General Weeks Events

The podcast is back! How excited are you? Well, I can tell you that I am overjoyed to be bringing you the podcast in the new year. There are some changes that are happening. This week the podcast is a solo venture. I cannot promise when we will have more than one host, but it will happen in the future.

Now, what have I been up to? Well, I'm no longer playing on the druid, so you'll have to deal with me talking about shamanistic things. But my shaman is fully leveled and geared enough to do LFR, so be ready to hear about all my travels in the future!

Main Topic - The Podcast Returns and Some Changes

We return the podcast on that most sacred of days, the first of January. But changes had to happen. Along with a better focus, and more regular content, you can be assured that we plan on growing the podcast slowly, and skillfully.

Oh, but we'll still have fun!

Main Topic - Rhonin and the Citizens of Dalaran

This week we talk about Rhonin, a mage that most people run into for the first time during the Wrath of the Lich King. His life in the lore starts much sooner and you can see him for the first time in Day of the Dragon, a novel by Richard A. Knaak. In the novel, he is a pariah of sorts but attempts to right the wrongs he committed earlier in his life. But how does he go from pariah to a hero that dies a valiant death? Yamin and Machik chat about that.

Main Topic - Earthen Origins

We all know and love the dwarves. Well, you Horde might not. But those that are unbiased or unabashedly alliance knows the dwarves are hearty strong and often times drunk. But where did they come from. Only from the greatest beings ever known!

TITANS!

Well, they are a product of the Titans at least. They were created to be servants, builders of mountains and fully composed of the earth material in Azeroth.

But then a curse happened. So, let's take a look at the history of the Earthen.

The Kanabras (the Swedish troll) argues on the merits of Mak'gorah. Which of course inspires a lively discussion between Machik and Saiisil. Finally, Kanabras, a new listener, helps Machik realize that breaks are part of the norm for the game. And he'll be back to playing every day soon enough.
