The following letters were written by Dr. Theodore Hightower, a professor of mythological studies and the occult at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. The following letters were given over as evidence by the addressee (who wishes to remain nameless; she is given the pseudonym "Amy" in the following account for purposes of confidentiality) after Dr. Hightower’s body was found mutilated in his apartment several days after the most recent letter was written.
