Tim Spaulding has run Western States twice, on a grand total of 3 tickets. He first ran the race in 2018 getting in on one ticket. Going into the race incredibly undertrained he would do something at the finish line that would make him famous, or infamous.

He next ran the race in 2021 after getting in on two tickets!
