It reveals that 42% of people in a four-county region, including 39% in Washtenaw County, struggle to cover basic living costs due to rising expenses and insufficient wages. A survival budget for a family of four in Washtenaw County is nearly $95,000 annually, having increased by 7.7% since 2021.

The team revisits old cases using new technologies, re-interviewing witnesses, and exploring changes in relationships over time.
