In episode 3 I am bringing you one of the most devoted of film photographers, Jamie Maldonado. We talk about Sonic Youth and their close affiliation with photographers like Spike Jonze and Richard Kern, what is so alluring about portrait photography and we end with some thoughts on how to be better photographers when shooting with female models. Jamie is a real friend to the female and isn't grandstanding about it, instead he puts his money where his mouth is and SHOWS us how inclusive and collaborative he is. I am such a big fan of Jamie and even more so after our conversation. I hope you enjoy this one guys.

Welcome to the first episode of Lucy Lumen's Podcast Adventure! I'm so excited to kick this season off with a new found friend and fellow film shooter Molly Kate over in Cardiff, Wales. Molly is a welcome fresh energy to the YouTube photography world and I was really pleased to get the chance to have a proper chat with her. We discussed many things, including how photography fits into Molly's life, finding your niche, gender and street photography and some opinions on how to approach the sometimes negative comments received when bringing this topic up, the price of film cameras and why we should stop complaining and of course a few laughs.  We were both a bit nervous but the convo really got going once we were into it.
