In life, one of the hardest things for most people is "change". Ashlei is the owner & trainer at Optimal Training Health & Fitness located at 236 N Main St in Porterville. Ashlei is no stranger when it comes to leading, training and hosting meet ups for local vendors in the community. She opened her doors in 2015 which seemed like a long shot as she explains, however she's had no shortage of clientele as the majority of her clients all come by word of mouth. In 2020 & 2021 Optimal Training Health & Fitness was recognized as the best gym & fitness facility in Porterville which speaks for itself. During the time of this interview I attended one the pop up events that Ashlei hosted on Veterans Day and let me tell you, it was nothing but good vibes and positive energy. We cover different topics as Ashlei shares her story on how she got her start in the training/ health & fitness industry as well as some of the internal struggles she had to face on her rise to the top. Welcome to another episode of The Luxic Vue Podcast. The last few weeks I have been off the grid, and I wanted to fill you in as well as spread some words of wisdom from the heart. I have learned over the last couple years that in order to keep sane during the changes in your life you need to be able to adjust your focus when necessary. In this episode I talk about some adjustments I have made over the years & as of recent. I also share updates on future podcast episodes for the month of November. In this episode I go in on a topic that really isn't talked about too frequently which is protecting your energy. Our energy is sacred and sometimes we really need to discern who and what we giving it to. Are you giving your energy away freely? Do you often feel drained around certain types of people or conversations? I challenge you to think about the questions that I am asking as I hope it leads you to the truth. As my grandfather would always say, The truth shall set you free. I also share some examples of what I have grown through in this episode in hopes of helping you become aware of what I mean when I am saying "protect your energy".
