Somehow we managed to turn the shortest film in the series that was based on the longest book into one of our longest episodes. We explore perhaps of the most marmite entry in the series and as expected do an in depth analysis on why Umbridge is in fact the best villain in the entire series (an analysis that involves a lot of swearing) not to mention we discuss the continuing theme of isolation for Harry as he enters his teen emo phase in these films. Things get political at Hogwarts as the chess pieces begin to move in the approaching war for the wizarding world as we move closer and closer towards the finish line with this series. Also we talk about the highest grossing films of 2007 because it turns out 2007 was where it was at

Woah-Oh we’re half way their, woah-oh podcasting on a prayer. We reach the half way point of our Harry Potter odyssey and we reach the moment everything changes in the series. Long gone are the days of simple quidditch, three headed dogs, Christmas jumpers and unfortunately turban clad villains and replaced with dragons, mermaids, racist quidditch hooligans, the maze from The Shining and teenagers being horny in really weird ways. It’s Goblet of Fire, home to some of the biggest story points in the saga, some of the best comedic moments in the series and the greatest sporting achievement in Irish history. Another week another POTTER! episode this time we get our movie nerd on with the most cinephile friendly of all the series as future oscar winner Alfonso Cuaron takes over directing duties with a new look Hogwarts, a new energy and a lot of new characters and adventures. Another year at Hogwarts means another episode in our Harry Potter series as we discuss the second and final Potter film of the Chris Columbus era featuring more phenomenal casting choices, way better Qudditch CGI, a fun central mystery and the first appearance of future President of Ireland Micheal D.
