Hey everyone, welcome back to the podcast! This was another fun chat with Cody Cooper, owner of Grit Box Fitness! They have locations in both downtown and West Ashley that combines the high intensity of kick boxing with strength training. Cody had a very 'gritty' journey that led to him creating his business and you will get to hear all about that within this episode. Cody has seen his fair share of being kicked down over and over and he always found a way to get back up again. He also shares some of the cool things going on in the Grit Box community and what they have to offer there! Thank you listening as always and we will catch you next week!

This week, I am joined by Justine DeCastro who is a primary care physician that just made the switch from the classic insurance-based healthcare model to direct primary care. Justine explains to us what direct primary care is all about, why she made the switch, and why she believes in it. With better outcomes, more affordability, and transparency, it seems like this model is a game changer. We also get to speak with one of her patients who has experienced both sides of the spectrum and is able to provide a cool perspective on this subject. He explains the biggest differences and benefits. As always, we appreciate you tuning in! Enjoy!

2020. What a year it has been! Today, we have the whole Made 2 Move team on the podcast to share our thoughts on the past year. It was definitely a weird one, but it was also a year that caused us all to adapt and be resilient in tough situations. In this episode, we recapped our highs and our lows and discussed all the changes we've experienced this year. Whether it was new digital marketing campaigns, learning how to make patients comfortable in the midst of a pandemic, or adding members to our team, we've come a long way. However, we're not done yet - 2020 inspired us to make some big moves in 2021. Listen to the podcast to hear some exciting news! As always, we are super grateful for the team that we get to work with every day, and for our listeners. Cheers to 2021!
This week's episode is the 3d edition of Nate and Hannah and we are talking everything to do with stretching! What is stretching? What are the benefits of stretching and are there any negative effects of stretching? Could we be using stretching in a more efficient manner? If these are things you have been curious about or you want to learn more, you can learn a few things throughout our conversation.
We also discuss the practice of RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevation) and if this is really the best way to address acute injuries. We take a stand against RICE and dive into the other things you could be doing that would further strengthen your recovery process. We even come up with our very own acronym to make it easy to remember! We hope you take something away from this episode and as always, thank you for listening!
Today, I sat down to interview Helen Hall, most famously known as Hush Up and Hustle on Instagram! We talked a lot about Helen's journey and how she approaches things differently as an entrepreneur, including working with her friends and fiancé while also living out of an RV.
She loves moving the needle forward in life, engaging people of all types, and learning how to live a balanced lifestyle. Enjoy the show!
