The Magic Spark

Sagittarius season runs November 22nd - December 20th  2023.

Sagittarius season always welcomes the forward motion, breath of fresh air, new ideas, fun, and fresh perspectives after the deep dark of Scorpio.

In this Sagittarius season:

In some ways it’s a mellow cycle. 

The big shifts are a mercury Rx and it's still not that big because it happens 3xs a year. 

And Neptune stations direct early december. 

The astrology will unravel and reveal itself more in my weekly moonday newsletter (if you don’t receive it already hop on the list at the link in the show notes). 

The channeled messaging is all about taking it slower than we want to, or than Sag likes to. 

It’s all about not immediately solving anything, but being aware of things, accepting them, and setting them on the shelf…then exploring potential solutions….as we sift, sort, evaluate, think about, and feel into all our options for solutions….and implementing and taking action LATER.

I say this every year. 

AND it's louder this year. 

We’re seeing more of where we want to go. 

We’re allowing ourselves to connect, perhaps for the very first time ever, to what we, on our own terms, want and desire. WITHOUT shame or sandbagging ourselves. 

And Sag season has us all excited to jump into it - as it does every year..part of the fun and love of the holiday season (if you resonate with that) is not about the holidays at all it’s about the energy of Sag. 

This is a major moment of understanding the beauty of feeling excited and having truly amazing ideas and visions, and to learn to use it for a long game plan, rather than an instant gratification moment (over spending on gifts that brings shame the rest of the year). 

Go slower than you want. 

Actually slow yourself down. 

It’s still shadow season. 

We’re still walking the catacombs. 

It’s not time to activate, initiate or do. And the longer you work outside the energetics the farther you are from your goals, and from the healing you want. 

I know how hard this is. I have a ton of fire in my chart. I have years of moving too fast. Did it still produce some amazing things and a lot of fun. Yes. but could those wins have been bigger or more sustainable with less burnout and clean up and recovery - for sure. 

Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter…therefore this season is also ruled by Jupiter. 

Jupiter is considered the Santa Claus of the chart. Some astrologers prescribe that Jupitarian energy is benevolent and brings gifts wherever it goes…but nothing is just ONE thing…Jupiter EXPANDS its a gas giant that can gas us up having us think just because we have energy to do something that we currently have the skills to back it up (when we don't). 

Jupiter also speaks to the indulgence of the season that has us in a lot of shame over spending, eating, wellness, and overall self-care by January. It can be a massively overindulging energy that gaslights us into thinking this is just how it is because it's all we’ve known or seen. 

Just know, sometimes energy can be trickster. Mercury for sure is. The Magician in the tarot can be. And so can Aphrodite. We can feel and know and be in the energy but discernment and wisdom is still a necessity. Just because we feel the energy doesn’t mean we should hop in and ride along. 

Stay awake. 

Be present. 

Practice awareness. 

Just because you’re offered something or CAN do something doesn’t mean you should. 

Make wise choices on your own terms. 

This is a massive slow down in our culture. 

It builds stable foundations that stand the test of time and in disposable times, in a capitalistic culture we can very much feel everything should be quick or is easily replaceable - it shouldn’t and it isn’t. 

Focus on quality, endurance, mastery, honesty, and stability. 

Hot and fast is okay for a few seasons…but it’s not this one. 

Slow and low is still the tempo.

Sagittarius season will always have us wandering and expanding, interested, excited and enthused in new ways to do all the things. However,  it requires focus, so you don’t get dragged or exhausted or miss actually getting something done. 

Sagittarius is a centaur - half horse half man, and an archer. It’s the second athlete of the zodiac chart. It’s primal and capable, capable of being a workhorse,  needs to burn off steam and synthesize ideas and concepts PHYSICALLY. SUPER educated, but needs blinders on in order to keep their eye on the bullseye - when focused - they always hit the bullseye - but without constructive discipline they are wandering around the world, literally. 

This season will have us asking:

It’s got very Hanged One (from the Tarot) vibes. A shift of perspective could change everything. 

These things offer us new solutions, and peace, to old triggers and trip ups.

Things we never thought we were suited for, things we never imagined we’d be embarking on…this season says, imagine…explore…and perhaps run towards it and into it.

Sag is represented by The Temperance card in the Tarot which we’ll dive deeper into in EP 51 in our Sag season tarot forecast - which seems counterintuitive…and yet…it’s all the wise medicine. Sag is enthusiastic and ret - ta - GO in an instant - but temperance reminds us that it takes time to build greatness, knowledge, and understanding. Temperance gives the medicine of slow down, support, plot, and plan, and above all learn to recover when working with Sagittarius energy because although it’s creative and capable, it tends to move too fast and run the major statistical risk of failing at a project, simply because they took it too fast. 

As much knowledge and learning that Sag offers us…it equally  offers us mistakes and feet-in-mouth moments to  show how easy it can be to LET IT GO and just move on…as well as the embarrassment that moving too fast or with too much confidence can generate. 

This cycle invites us to be playful, be open, be willing to explore and be willing to own our mistakes, openly…..to finally solve for good or for better. It offers us steps into wisdom. It’s always a matter of taking and embracing the learning and the glow up.  

In balance Sag energy is fierce, passionate, curious adaptability. It will find answers in strange places that others don’t dare to explore. It's a fire sign with massive capacity to get things going, finish something up, with stamina for dayz. It can manifest. It's super fun at a party….and again, when focused…..will hit the mark. Exalted sag is a fierce educated leader, constantly learning and inventing, capable of seriously pulling a magic rabbit out of a hat. It’s lit and balanced, fun, sexy, solid and capable. 

In imbalance, it’s a wild ride. Spinning wheels, wasting time, wandering lost…convinced it’s having a great time, disconnected from feelings, sending itself up about what a great time is being had by all. In imbalance it's ungrounded, erratic, and its still fire…soooo can quickly get destructive. Burning down the forest when all it was trying to do was cook dinner. This version needs grounding and to get into the vessel QUICK….best way is a workout, and I don’t mean yin stretches, it needs to push, pull, launch, jump, or jog. It needs to MOVE and push the boundaries and engage in adrenaline to a certain extent. 

In imbalance Sag is saying all the wrong things, and making weir mistakes, and breaking things…while at the same time being too embarrassed about it all to even attempt an apology - they’ll just keep galloping past all the things and pretend they didn’t happen - cause they earnestly don’t mind…they just don't always realize that other people do. 

Fire is the mighty magic element - when we can focus and channel it - it becomes the miraculous wand of manifestation. It imagines, creates, calls in and transmutes. It’s capable of earnestly bringing anything to manifestation….Sag is the imagination with vision and philosophy…it can however lack grounding, rails, a logical to-do list and actionable tactics…it’s possible, but can you take the steps to make it probable. 

Sagittarius rules our legs, and specifically our thighs. This energy is intrinsically connected to our capacity to move forward in the world, on our own terms. Sag NEEDS TO MOVE, remember when I said it was the second athlete of the chart? When in motion, it flows. This season asks all of us if we are strong enough to move ourselves forward - as well as asking - do we have the stamina for what we want to see brought to life? Issues with our legs may crop up to bring us to exactly these questions - ailments and issues in the legs right now want you asking these two questions and implementing healing NOW.

This cycle calls us to ground our strength, to move forward and through discomfort for a true phoenix flight (after scorpio season)  with endurance and enthusiasm. You’ll see kneeling squats, monster walks, and my signature single leg series with a focus on hip, and glute/hamstring strength. 

Energetically we always tend to all seven traditional chakras, you’ll see continued work on the root, sacral, and solar plexus and the earth star this month. 

Vibe check…are you connected to your joy, creativity, education, philosophy, reading, listening, learning, and expanding? Do you trust exploration and expansion? Do you attract what you want? Do you galavant enough…in thought…feelings…actual travel?

It is time to. 

Let me state  this is a time to implement the idea of slowing down in order to speed up later. Sag is also an archer…..arrows can only fly with the proper amount of tension on the pull back….this is a time of learning what actual balance is for you. You’ve got ideas to explore. Can you finally make the plan, make the to -do list and implement one step at a time in the life you currently have as you’re on your way to move of the life you want? It’s not a one leap, one step process. You’ve to learn that excitement doesn’t last but plans and processes do. Once the initial adrenaline excitement has worn off…can you to the boring doing that gets you to your ultimate bullseye? It’s a time to focus on the goal. Do you know what you want? Your why power has to grow into more than your willpower and adrenaline, dopamine hits.

This episode is our single card tarot forecast for October 23rd through November 22nd 2023.

1 card for the spirit in which to move through things. 

This episode may have more weight or significance if you are a Scorpio native and have your sun, rising and or moon in this sign. 

Scorpio in the Tarot, in the Major Arcana -  is represented by The Death card - In the traditional Rider Waite Smith deck it's depicted by a skeleton in knights armor, riding a white horse, carrying a black flag with a white rose and 5 ears of white corn, 4 human figures, a child, 2 adults, one dead, and one bishop…all looking up at the figure of death on the horse. 

It’s one of the few cards people truly fear in a reading. It’s one of the cards that perpetuates untrue myths about the tarot. 

The death card doesn’t literally mean death, tho it can and is clearly connected to tales of the four horsemen of the apocalypse…it’s allegory and myth and symbolism. 

It teaches us that endings are  a part of life and necessary. That we cannot avoid of skip them. That we must learn to flow with them and embrace them and simply make our way through. Look them straight in the eye, process them. Experience them. Work through them. Rather than pretend they aren’t happening, disassociate, deflect, or flat out reject them .

Acceptance is key with this card. What is happening IS happening. Best to not be surprised, or confused or waste time ‘wishing’ it wasn’t happening. IT IS. NOW WHAT?

This is the card of winter - as a season. It says die off, letting go, and endings are necessary and generate fertile compost, healthy soil for new things come spring. 

It’s a time and card of processing. What has worked in the past year(s), what didn’t work, what has never worked, what do you want to keep, what should you keep doing, what do you need to let go of or walk away from regardless of want or comfort. 

This card has always offered me, my readings, and my community the depth of the magical, healing and  transformational energy of the dark goddesses.Lilith, Hekate, and Kali. In the dark is where healing happens. 

In the dark is where all life/creative endeavors are borne. 

This is the essence of the witch - in the darkness we know our true empowerment. 

It’s the number 13 - the number of the goddess, the number of moon cycles every year, also the number of the amount of moon cycles those with uterus’ typically experience. 

This card is deeply connected to the cycles of life - and of creative life force. 

It does represent endings. It says digging in the shadows, the dark, in death, mourning, and loss are necessary fodder for rebirth, creation, and new life. 

Scorpio, as an energy of the zodiac, offers us:

The power of trust through vulnerability

Healing subconscious and unconscious wounds

Shadow work

The benefit of making friends with death, sex, and the occult….anything hidden or unseen reveals for healing

Honor Scorpio with a tarot reading, a trusted therapist or a leap of faith in trying to work with one, gett witchier….whatever that means to you, 

delve into your shadows for shadow work, share the stories we would rather be hidden in safe spaces, create celebrations of life, honoring those who have passed, ancestry and friends, or simply humans we’ve never known but honor their transition, knowing it is a part of the cycle of this life experience. Lean into endings, grief, mourning, and loss. Scorpio season is a time to plot your epic rebirth, come spring. 

Scorpio is a fixed water sign - in the suites of the Tarot -  Water is represented by cups - this is the element of emotions, feelings, psychic healing, channeling, and the connection to spirit/source. 

The imbalance of Scorpio is super shady…it wants revenge and destruction and pain of others.It wants someone to pay - it wants retribution for their hurts.  It wants to avoid feeling any hurt and often responsibility. The imbalance resists emotional growth and would rather kill itself then feel pain or emotional responsibility.  It can look and feel like anger and rage….remember that anger can be sacred and is honored here - it is also just really loud sadness…so if we can get curious in the triggers we experience - and dial back to the origin pain point, we can turn the imbalance into balance through healing. 

Water is an element that can take over and flood everything. And in a water season we need to remember, on the regular, that feelings are incredible data points, they matter, and they are valid but they are not always facts. Get diligent about getting curious in your own strong feelings to see if they are really facts and how they can be worked with for the better ... .rather than get stuck or sunk in them or flood others with them.

Scorpio season runs October 23rd thru November 22nd  2023.

Scorpio season makes a silent and stealthy entrance. And in my opinion, it began October 16th, when the moon entered Scorpio - directly after our new moon eclipse in Libra...just for 2 days but it was amplified by the magic of the eclipse…that then thickened with Mercury moving into Mercury on October 22nd. 

We’ve actually been in these energies for a hot minute. 

This cycle offers us some distinct shifts in the astrology. 

The most magical of which is our full moon lunar eclipse in Taurus on October 28th - this will be the convo that won’t quit for at least 2 weeks, but actually closes out the 18 month cycle of the nodes of fate in Taurus/Scorpio January 18, 2022 - July 17, 2023…so this is no small lunation. 

Nov 4th Saturn stations direct

Nov 8th Venus enters Libra

Nov 10th Mercury moves into Sag

Nov 13th is our new moon in Scorpio

…the overall vibes are of course magical as fuck. It’s shadow season. It’s the witch of the chart, in the witchiest time of year. This is an alchemy moment. 

Scorpio is death and rebirth. There are layers of rebirth moments in this cycle. 

The eclipses are always buckets full of magic being dumped into the Universe. The energy is giant in a full moon, and utterly unpredictable. Our job is simply to be present and ride the wave AND this eclipse closes a massive cycle…sooo my channel says…if you have major placements in Taurus or Scorpio - sun rising or moon - or a stellium in either - there’s a grand finale that’s possible here. A gift or reveal from all the grinding, melting, and alchemizing that was done January 18, 2022 - July 17, 2023. There is a major moment here just waiting for us to utter ‘ I did not see that coming’ or mutter ‘plot twist’. Now whether this is the miracle you’ve been praying and casting for, or the curveball you simply don’t know how to hit…..it’s transformational and in general for the greater good of your path in this lifetime. 

ACCEPT IT. 

Don’t waste time trying to understand it. 

ACCEPT IT. 

Maybe allow for a hot second to feel surprised or to process…

But above all, ACCEPT IT.

Scorpio’s main lesson is trust. Mostly learning to trust themselves. But this falls in the faith and surrender category. If we trust ourselves, our intuition, our wants, desires, creativity, pings, and pushes…..then we have the capacity to trust the Unseen forces, to embrace that the UNiverse has our back, that we’ll know when to exit a situation, that we’ll hear when things have taken a shift that no longer serves us. Scorpio offers us presence and navigation of the moment. It offers us the release of controlling things and offers us a dance with co-creation. 

One of the key pieces to healing, progress, or change is acceptance. 

The messaging in this cycle is don’t waste time trying to understand things. It’s super ego/human based to think we should or need to understand everything. We don’t. We can’t. We’re not meant to. 

We’re here to accept and navigate. 

This Scoprio season is taking us deeper into the underworld. Further into the dark, to allow us to fly higher into the light when the time comes. 

The Scorpio mantra is I desire.

Scorpio is a fixed water sign that has the capacity to heal unconscious and subconscious wounds, once we get crystal clear what we actually want and desire. 

Desire is necessary for alchemy. You have to want something in order to manifest or heal. 

Scorpio  - the witch of the zodiac -  it does not do surface, it goes deep and loves all the improper dinner table talk; death, sex, and the occult. 

Scorpio offers us the value of things we have been falsely conditioned to keep hidden. It allows us strength and authenticity when we are brave enough to dredge from the bottom of the pond.

This season offers us the depth of our human experience in the duality of light and dark. No judgment, just honesty about what is. What do we desire? What do we want? What do we lust for? Who do we trust or not? 

Take note this cycle of where you feel unseen. Where you are uncomfortable, or being triggered with shame or guilt. This is Scorpio trying to reveal something to you, for healing. Sit with the feels. Talk to them, listen to them…push yourself to go deeper with them, get curious...Scorpio healing looks like your angel and devil walking off into the sunset holding hands.

In balance Scorpio is the sweetest authenticity and truth that gives no fucks for anyone's side eye. Scorpio knows the delicate dance of humanity and soul. It is the true advocate and guardian of truth and is here to bring what is dark to light….but also, to simply value the dark. As a place of creation, healing, rest, pleasure, reprieve, and restoration. It is the witch of the chart because this energy fully honors that our connection with the unseen…is actually just a connection to ourselves. We are not separate from the Universe. We are it. It is us. We are stardust in a skin suit. Energy is neither created nor destroyed; it just shifts form, changes speed, clusters close or drifts far apart. 

Scorpio knows that when we connect to all that is unseen we’re really just getting to know ourselves better. It casts spells in co-creatorship with the Universe to bend the outcome to its desired will. Scorpio is at its most magnificent when it is casting spells and trusting that they will come to fruition. Scorpio leaps into the unseen. Scorpio is the risk for the reward. It is the delicate and magical balance of humanity and divinity, the seen and the unseen. 

It is the casting of a spell with all frequencies in alignment, a true strong heart, unconditional love, hope, and faith…that then…once uttered…is completely released. Fuck it. Whatever happens happens. I feel good about my participation in the potential outcome. 

EVERYTHING begins in the dark. 

In imbalance, Scorpio would rather kill themselves than feel pain. The story goes that when a scorpion is surrounded by fire, they get so freaked out, they sting themselves with their own venom rather than be in fear or pain…..meanwhile...they’re missing hope and faith that someone is just outside that ring of fire to either put it out, or pluck them from overhead…or that it’ll start raining.

In imbalance, Scorpio is vengeful, spreads rumors, and gossip, is angry, and builds all the walls to keep people out. Scorpio asks us to honor what  false paradigms we keep hidden. 

Scorpio rules our sex organs and excretory organs, hips, and pelvis; The hips and pelvis are our personal cauldron. All magic begins here. This is our root chakra. Our base. Our capacity to feel safe, secure, seen, and stabilized. It’s the place where all life begins. Creative life force lives here. 

Sex magic speaks loudly and well for Scorpio. This speaks to my Witches Work series I’ll speak to in a minute, but we need to be in excellent partnership with this area of our vessel if we are truly to cast spells, heal, make magic, and manifest. As a culture we tend to connect our genitals, desire, lust, and sensual pleasure to shame…..This is a lie of the patriarchy…this is goddess incarnate, the crossroads of humanity and divinity….LITERALLY…all humans…are sparks…nothingness…a soul…until it takes root in a dark womb. Witnessing the birth of a soul is truly the most magic we will ever truly ‘see’. Where there was nothing….then there was a person…we all come from a womb. We all started as nothing.

But I want to be clear - creative life force is NOT limited to couriering in a soul..it’s an example of magic made form in the 3D

This energy in our personal cauldron, our pelvis, our hips, our sex organs and genitals is capable of creating ANYTHING when the spell is cast in Joy, pleasure, enthusiasm, love, and fun….connecting, reconnecting, cultivating healthy pleasure practices are the key to fierce manifesting….this is one of the main reasons I say that if you’re not tending to your vessel, you’re not tending to your magic. 

On the flip side of a healthy relationship with this portion of our vessel…if this life experience is stuck to shame or bound to stagnation here….it’s going to be much more challenging to manifest consistently, for keeps, or to attract the bigger stuff. You’ll see dis-order and disease in these parts if there is healing to be done with pleasure, receiving, sex, the gender you do/do not identify with, or the shame of any of these. 

Scorpio season calls us to expand and strengthen our magic. We are meant to be clear that we are capable of making magic out of anything if we give it time, consistency, imagination, pleasure, joy and fierce love….while leading all of that out of shame.  

This is a time for shadow work.

Let me state  this is a time of alchemy. Of letting things go. Of saying goodbye, to closing things out. It’s a time of wandering, exploring, and lingering in curiosity in liminal spaces as things are revealed, come up, slither out, or spill over.  This cycle is not linear, neat, efficient, or basic. 

Don’t ask a fish to climb a tree. It doesn’t climb. Give it a place to swim. Or rather don’t ask a scorpio to be linear, devoid of emotion, or simple. It’s just not. 

We all have Scorpio in our charts somewhere.

It’s a time of things sifting out. Balancing. It also reflects The High Priestess card in action - your knowing is finally guiding you. You know what needs to be done, now will you be grown enough to do it?

In balance it signals efforts you've made in the past are finally coming to fruition either literally or energetically. Baggage is being dropped, Healing is happening. 

In Imbalance Life is going sideways and is out of balance or integrity. Revisit your value system. Are you acting in integrity to what you believe in. Adjust. Pivot. Make shifts towards the more adulting, wiser, or fair.

Libra is a cardinal air  energy - In the suites of the Tarot -  air is represented by swords -  intellect, acumen, thought process, our words. Swords are a call to review what are we listening to, reading, thinking, repeating, saying, and stating? What are the conscious and subconscious systems running in us…now? What needs to be adjusted, educated, or supported for constructive expansion. 

Libra offers us a literal beautiful balance of this  3D incarnation of fairness in our civil liberties for ALL NOT some and beauty and pleasure in our human experiences.  At its very best it clarifies communication, meditates, and advocates for better understanding and as much fairness as possible in each situation. . At its worst it’s people pleasing, over talking, spiraling on non action and indecision and hiding in retail therapy or making things look pretty when under the service things are super ugly. 

Libra has us honoring our thoughts and values in partnership and relationship to each other and other things. While allowing us to realize things will never be perfect, we just need to think about how we show up and be present, do the best with what we have and know and drop the rest and enjoy this life. 

This energy could feel like the whole goddess mode and era. Feeling your body, mind, spirit, energy, and empowerment with a balance in things looking good and DOING good for self and the greater good…OR it could have us lost in earning our worthiness through co-dependent partnerships, overthinking things, stirring into toxic anxiety and never taking action. 

Grounding matters in Libra season and for Libra placements…BIG time. Expand your education, thoughts, and words this cycle….stretch for better understanding of re-indigenizing, dismantling internalized patriarchy, unraveling toxic methods of communication, and upleveling through glamor magick. I know. It seems disconnected and yet…multiplicity is the language of this lifetime. 

Love and expand yourself and you learn how to offer grace, love, and expansion for others.

Today we’ve got our deep dive into Libra energies along with my channeled offerings. 

Let’s see what this season wants us to hear. 

This is episode is an energetic overview with guidance for the next 4 months:

September 23rd - December 21st 2023.

You may want to revisit each month in this season. Listening multiple times is so empowering as you discover how these channeled messages actually play out in your life. It helps our energies sync and aids in your ability to synthesize and utilize these readings as coaching or mentoring, rather than just adding more noise in your life. 

Mark your calendars for the 12th - 15th each month.   

Every offering in this ecosystem aims to support you to live a life by design rather than a life by default. 

May you, forever, be deeply rooted and take action in personal integrity, intellect, intuition, and love.

The Autumnal Equinox takes place Saturday, September 23rd in the northern hemisphere. 

An Equinox is one of two times a year when the sun shines directly on the equator, and the northern and southern hemispheres get the same amount of rays. Hence Equal. Light. 

It offers us a time of down turn in energetics and has us welcoming in restoration and contemplation. It asks for a balance of stillness in our lives. This is the official welcome of shadow season. There is magic to be had here, spells to cast, and manifestations to receive…but they’re all going to need to come from the deep inner stillness of our soul….NOT the hyper movement of our brain or culture...if we want them to actually come to fruition. This season does not play. It says you need to know your own catacombs. Intimately. If you don’t…welcome to the tour….if you do shit’s about to get wonderfully interesting.

For those listening not in the northern hemisphere the seasons are different -  but the energies of the astrology, zodiac, and channeled guidance -  are the same. So, as always, take what resonates with you and leave the rest, there are always magic sparks here for everyone. 

If you’ve been listening and following along in your Unicorn grimoires since this summer one - THANK YOU - and two - you’ll know we are just moving out of #hotwitches summer. A season when normally we’ve be out to play and living it up in playful loud YOLO style, enjoying the height of growth, yet we were guided to mellow, not to cast a damn spell, to do any and all the things that bolster our frequency, our wellness, our health, and mostly our energetic magical coins…..And to stash those magical units — in our magick bank and wait….until this season…to spend/cast on something big. 

When are we recommended to do this, you ask? 

The Full Moon in Aries on September 29th. That’s when. You’ve got lead time to prep. DO NOT MISS THIS WINDOW! I love to cast under a fire moon, not to mention an Aries full moon. Fire is the element of magic, in the sign of the initiator and high manifester. 

You want to start a wildfire? 

Invoke it under an Aries new or full moon. 

The channeled info for Libra season and Autumn in general….

This season says, pull all the things into balance…lol you know SIMPLE….Libra afterall is the scales - balance is the name of the game. But don’t get confused on what balance actually means….we’ll get into that in the deep dive, after this channeled messaging. 

There is still maintenance here. If you took action on the guidance this summer your frequency has expanded and you’re in the process of receiving upgrades. In the fall it’s about how you receive and hold them. 

If you listened to the episode about this year 2023 (both the gregorian and astrological new year Jan and March EP’s 23 & 27 this year) I talked about how 2023 was slated to bring us more healing, abundance, joy, pleasure, love, joy, calm, and peace than we’ve ever known before….we’re still in the window of this NOW. In fact most of us are just NOW stepping  into the thickest portion of this energy. Meaning if you’re not feeling the blessings, healing, calm, or receiving opportunities THAT’s OK. You’re waiting on your timing and or you’re needing a little more digging, playing, walking through the shadows to shine up your frequency for the goods. 

OR I’m also hearing, you may be doing the werk but haven’t written anything out with clarity about WHAT YOU WANT! This community tends to need a little extra support and expansion around want, wish, and desire. WHAT DO YOU WANT? No time for anything but SHAMELESS DESIRE> Take a page from Cardi B, Doja Cat, Lil Mama, the queen bee herself Beyonce, Catherine Zeta Jones, Jenna Ortega or Kim Kardashian - get to the core of what you want on your terms without shame. YOU DESERVE YOUR DESIRES. Want is goddess mode energy. 

Yes, of course it's connected to the wound of worthiness AND you don’t have to be ‘completely’ healed to lean into the frequency. Why? BECAUSE IT’S NOT POSSIBLE TO BE FULLY HEALED. That’s a perfectionist, white savior colonized concept that keeps us from expansion

So much of this season is offering a fake it till you make it vibe. 

Act as if.

Model your behavior after those you wish to grow into. 

Not to copy, mimic, or fake…but to try on, test out, practice, and learn.   

Be inspired, and make your own way. 

This season marks an opportunity to hit some major growth points. 

What does your inner goddess need to come out to play…on the daily?  That’s the question to ask Now through December…as a macro cycle. It’s a follow up to Virgo season. 

…AND make sure you’re not just asking….take action with the insight that comes. 

This is embodiment. 

This is authenticity. 

This is decision making and ACTION.

Because you, at your core are divine nature, you are cosmic royalty.
You are Stardust shoved in a skin suit. …With energetic access to the knowledge of the Universe. 

These are the main messages for this fall summer in the northern hemisphere/spring in the south. It’s main character energy - it‘s you - you’re the main character - it’s  a glow up that will feel like rooting down. 

It’s showing octopus and willow and oak tree energy. 

Octopus medicine is the deep dark feminine, flexibility, regeneration, and capacity to go the depths of magic, energy, and emotion…and they do NOT stay where they do not want to be ... and they are deliciously intelligent.  

Willow offers us the ability to bend and sway, weave, and protect but not to break. It offers the wisdom of being fed by water, staying hydrated in order to flow (and channel) 

Oak is the sturdy, foundational, building and protection energy we all need i this lifetime. Oak says. It’s ok. You’re ok. It’s going to be ok. . 

It’s all here for us. 

This season could be a rewrite - it could be a makeover (hey glamor season yay) - it’s definitely a reboot, an expansion…from the deep dark of our insides. From our shadows, from our soul essence.  No more hiding. No more pretending. 

Libra season is the juice and goods of this energy. We’re going to see it thickest here..and it will stay with us till winter. 

Libra Season runs September 23rd - October 23rd 2023

Libra is the scales of justice in the chart. The only inanimate object on the wheel. A cardinal Air sign…the most stable of the air signs..yup, I said what I said…. ruled by Venus and represented by the Justice card in the Tarot - This energy is all about balance, relationships, partnerships, communication, beauty, glamor, soft romanticism, being seen, and being adorned.

The question we will be asking…is this or that, fair? 

The follow up question is…..And if so…fair to who/whom? 

One or all? Me or them?

Libra’s mantra is ‘I Balance.’ 

On one side of the Libra scales we have equality for all, civil liberties…all the fairness, food, water, shelter, being heard, accessibility, opportunity - and on the other - sensual pleasures…love, sex, glamor, fashion, beauty, music, art. It is ruled by our love - Venus - Aphrodite. 

Libra offers us harmony, communication, and mediation, with a heavy dose of beauty, and a very diplomatic and graceful quality to make our way constructively through very difficult things….IF the energy is grounded...if not...be on the lookout for avoiding confrontation, flakiness, giving up power left and right in order to do so, and self pitying grandiosity…with a massive side of false eye-lash batting and nude lip gloss. 

Libra can easily slide into dream, whimsy, and overly-romantic-co-dependency. 

Think of the activism fatigued non-for profit advocates that are just depleted…. not advocating for themselves, a system that isn’t advocating for them…...where’s the justice in that?

In Imbalance Libra will have us hiding from any decision making because it so desperately wants everything to be fair and sweet. It’ll cover up sadness, low level stuff, or big things that truly need addressing  with pretty paint, clothes, superfluous words, and busyness. Libra makes avid use of beautiful distractions. This is a version of perfectionism. Nothing is ever perfect and things are rarely completely fair - and though Libra helps generate balance -  will often stutter and struggle to make personal choices and decisions, being paralyzed by making a wrong decision, they often choose/do nothing. Libra & Virgo….they friends for sure. Neighbors on the zodiac wheel…they share some commonalities of being super intelligent, knowing nothing can be perfect, and sometimes getting caught in procrastination or being stuck in FREEZE mode, futility, self gaslighting, or intellsplaining judgment of doing nothing because it can’t be perfect or fair….and making it sound smart or right (when really it’s super toxic and just a hrd NO). 

The imbalance of Libra is massive people pleasing. 

Libra must remember to make decisions, take action, be brave to step out, and use the voice, be independent AND BE SEEN in all the glorious, sumptuous, human glamor. 

Libra must cultivate self love and personal neutrality to then be the ripple for the outer world…in advocacy of others.

Libra must learn to walk their talk. 

Libra must learn to be comfortable not pleasing others, things not being perfect, and being the villain in someone else’s story. 

In Balance Libra is excellent with clever ideas, beautiful words, gorgeously curated experiences, loving partnership, soft solutions, and earnest communication. When grounded, Libran ideas, words, mediations, and solutions take root in the physical plane and result in stunning and tangible shift and outcomes for the better.  

Libra in its divine essence will produce a gorgeous luncheon with stunning decor, intelligent speakers, all centered around making the world a better place…in equity for all. 

This season is a time of either copious abundance and manifestation, pulling in the resources for the harvest...or of being challenged with your tendencies to stay ungrounded and not make decisions. 

Libra wants you to use your voice for constructive change - and honestly also wants a little mini leo moment of being seen for the efforts and achievements. 

Here’s a little Side quest - Libra season is also  massively Lilith season. Equity, Voice, and glamor magick. She is here in a big way.  And in this community Aphrodite and Lilith have hooked elbows like the sisters you need to get anything done. They will absolutely fuck around and find out. In favor of themselves…..to the benefit of marginalized communities. 

Libra wants you beautifully curated in your clothes, make up, scents, jewelry - particularly necklaces and scarves. Libra is glamor magic. Whatever makes you feel amazing in the presentation of your vessel DO IT. Feeling not just comfortable but sparkly in your vessel helps the delivery of your message. Being ready for your close up, isn’t just for Leo energy.

If you feel like you need a change in the style department DO IT in this season for extra oompf. Do not disregard the power of creative, authentic visual representation of self. 

Have that pretty, dressed up luncheon - even just with yourself.

But a gorg personal talisman around your neck would magically be even better to invoke all the empowerment and balance of Libra. 

We manifest by matching frequency. The sassier you feel about yourself, vessel, hair…the more comfortable you are in your skin….the higher those frequencies get to pull in manifestations. 

Remember, there’s no right way to be a witch. And there’s NO proper aesthetic as a witch either. It’s always about authenticity, allowing yourself to shift, change, evolve…in all the ways we are in this 3D incarnation - Body, Mind, and Soul. We know we’re so much more than a physical vessel…but also please remember, this physical vessel can be a really fun pleasure point as well as creative endeavor. We are our literal life by design. Fashion, Glamor - however that expresses through you - can be so empowering, fun, and healing…and it works..it’s a spell craft all its own and it just might be your preferred method of spell casting. 

It’s important to remember that Libra is and can be the lovely, sweet,  romantic, balanced breeze that tends and serves their partner(s) in cream, khaki, millennial pink and lavender… AND in imbalance it can quickly get whipped up into a tornado of army green,dark grey,  and black disrupting all the balance in its path while exhibiting major codependency, shop-a-holic tendencies.

This season has us checking in that our partnerships aren’t  actually toxic codependency.<--this includes our work, and friendships…..

Libra rules the kidneys - the kidneys are all about balancing fluids and electrolytes. It’s time to live in a hydration nation, in the libra season. Drink half of your body weight in ounces daily to get hydrated. Add a teaspoon of pink salt to one portion of water a day so you have the proper electrolytes for your body to absorb and register hydration. - Drowning yourself in water alone does not equal hydration. 

Most people are dehydrated and don’t even know it…it could take 3 - 4 days to get yourself initially hydrated. Then it’s maintenance. This also speaks to Libra’s imbalance of over giving or being overly focused on themselves. Spiritually the Kidneys are about how much we GIVE. our hydration levels represent how we flow with give and take…are we in martyrdom imbalance trying to earn our worth and not allowing ourselves basic human hydration?  UTIs have a relationship to things we’re pissed off about but are not addressing, or working with.  Water is life. Drink up this season.

 This episode is our single card tarot forecast for August 23rd - September 22nd 2023.

One card for the spirit in which to move through things. 

This episode may have more weight or significance if you are a Virgo native and have your sun, rising and or moon in this sign. 

Virgo in the Tarot, in the Major Arcana -  is represented by The Hermit card - In the traditional Rider Waite Smith deck it's depicted by a human with a long white beard in a cloak head bowed holding a lit lantern in front of them with one hand with a grounded staff in the other. The card is marked as  number 9 - but it’s actually the 10th card and this alone is interesting

Nine is the number of karmic closures and cycles ending. It’s another turning point of leveling up. This time moving us into wisdom. It says, you’ve come this far..do you want to go farther? Are you moving and navigating from your internal soul compass or are you continually seeking outside direction?

Ten is about fresh starts and new beginnings. Again, are we going farther? Or have we paused on the path? Are we following good advice - ours and trusted teachers - or are we stuck?

Very classically The hermit is known as the teacher, that goes off alone into the woods to meditate, pray, daydream, wander, rest, nap, channel, journal… but always with the intention of coming back to community and society to put into practice the insights gleaned while alone. 

We think of hermit and we think alone. This is an entirely yes AND situation.

The Hermit has us doing all the things. 

Recruiting mentors and teachers, taking time alone to meditate, cutting out the noise of the world and other voices and opinions, in order to know our own. It also has us exploring other voices and opinions in order to stay pliable and flexible and fluid in our knowledge. 

Life and its mysteries are ever mutating, so must our relationship with it. 

The Hermit can have us feeling lost in the liminal space. 

The hermit is epic quiet and stillness. 

It is grounding. 

It is centering. 

It may feel like magic has abandoned you. 

And yet, it’s the time our magic and connection to the mystical is expanding at a rate we’ve not known prior. 

This is mysticism itself. 

The great unknown. 

The ever unfurling path and adventure. 

The hermit welcomes us into a place of not repeating the past by working our experiences into wisdom and moving forward rather than sitting in the middle of the path looking back. 

It hikes up the mountain, only to come back down. Knowing that every retreat generates the next advance.

This card is deep and yummy with all the presence of Hekate - cause the lantern, the path, the quiet - she says I’ll guide you, I won’t leave you alone, I’ll light the way, I’ll show you the path, and when the time is right I’ll hand you the keys to the doors and gates on your adventure but I won’t do it for you. You have to do the doing. 

Hekate is mostly a silent guide. She says you’re strong enough. You’re smart enough, You’re magical enough YOU decide. Make a decision. Which way do you want to go?

I’m called to share the hermit invocation I wrote for my Magical Mentees many moons ago - consider this an invocation for the season:

I understand at times I must walk a solitary path. 

That I must move through loneliness in order to value being alone.

I take action on recruiting teachers and mentors to expand me, to connect me to my own channel. 

I willingly marry myself to the path of healing and expansion. 

I know that I have everything I need.

I know I am at the point on the path I’m supposed to be. 

I am not late. 

I am not too early. 

I am learning. 

I am present in this moment. 

I pause 

I think

I ponder

I remember and I imagine what has never been. 

I value the timing to be my own guiding light. 

I commit to the light I become simply by shining. 

My existence is modeled behavior of magic and divinity. 

I don’t have to speak. 

I feel. I know. I trust. 

And then I take action. 

I am integrity in expression.

I am ever learning and exploring. 

I am sovereign in my own beliefs, and hold space for that in others. 

I am the combination of all experiences in this lifetime so far. 

I live from a place of knowing all and knowing nothing all at the same time. 

I am the synthesis of not repeating that which does not work. 

I am the mystic that knows this is the matrix. 

I am the witch of the woods that knows we enter and exit this lifetime alone. 

I am everything and nothing. 

I am the hermit.

The sun enters Virgo August 23rd and stays there through September 22nd. 

This cycle, has shifts - at a glance - none of them are earth shattering (thank goddess) and we know that tiny is mighty and subtle is transformational….so keep in the flow of the daily work but here’s the breakdown so you’d heard it:

Aug 23rd Mercury station RX - officially

This Virgo season is taking us away from the typical surface virgo themes and directly into the goddess energy.

The Virgo mantra is I analyze ot I scrutinize

Virgo is a mutable earth that can feel quite airy. 

Virgo is the Virgin. She who is sovereign unto herself. It has nothing to do with ‘virginity’ as we know it in western culture. In fact, it’s linked to sensual pleasure in partnership and service to the body - the idea that gnosis could only be attained by men by entering the goddess temples and engaging in sex rituals with women. Virgo is an extremely pleasurable, and yes, sexy energy.  And this season she is calling for us to prescribe to all things goddess. Want to dismantle some internalized patriarchy - read THAT book. 

Virgo is often considered goddess of the wheat - Virgo’s role is to analyze, sift and sort the harvest to establish what is useful and what is not…moving forward. 

Virgo thrives being in service to those they love (but watch out for it - this energy can slide into a martyrdom…. as well so in this season be on the lookout for PROVING how much you love someone/thing or how WORTHY you are by working SO HARD). 

Virgo season offers us a time to get back on track. To put the play, expansion, exploration, creativity and restoration of Leo aside (at least a little) to return to constructive discipline…..schedules…practices and habits….list making…and HEY O spiritual hygiene …meditation, pulling tarot, goddess baths, energetic cleansings…come back to or start anything that allows  us to begin ‘cleaning up’ all the wide big energies and ideas/downloads and breakthroughs….to generate laser focus implementation...to be on path…to get to a point…to manifest…to check off the fucking list and get shit done. 

Earth signs are interestingly often out of the emotions of things. 

This can be super efficient and support in balance…as well as ridiculously harmful and toxic at others.

Virgo is dedication, purity, and service…Virgo nourishes in sneaky ways…it is all the mood of the phrase tiny & mighty.    

There is a process of goddess quality upgrades in this season, if we don’t get caught in too many nit-picky perfectionist details…or avoid emotional messes. 

In Balance, Virgo is the most amazing teacher, the BEST personal assistant, and the epically impeccable stage manager - this energy knows how to break down a goal, then follow it up with a simple, organized, actionable to-do list and  go one step at a time to check off the to-dos and make things happen. It analyzes EVERYTHING to ditch what isn’t needed, what slows the process down, or won’t add to the experience. They’re functional, but also sensual. They want to achieve. They want clarity, organization, and above all NO MESS on the path to the achievement and making a real point. Virgo says Let’s learn. Expand, get things done. 

Think of Virgo as a fierce editor, pulling things apart, striking, and asking for rewrites…but not to be annoying or attack your ego, to make the story better, clearer, more connected and richer….so the story PROVIDES for its readers. 

Exalted Virgo energy IS sexy librarian —smart, educated, practiced, but clear on what works and doesn’t work - on how to get to a goal with the least amount of dilly-dallying. And once the work is done…there’s an easy handed necessary loosening up of sensual pleasures, specifically connected to the vessel…a little celebration, a beverage…and yes sex. The goddess receives. Remember the pleasure principle in this season. Work. Focus. Put constructive discipline to WERK…then feel, receive, celebrate, nourish, purify, restore.

In Imbalance - oooh Virgo natives (sun, moon, and rising) ya’ll may feel some shade on this one…..in imbalance this energy hoots and hollers and claims ‘JUDGMENT!” You’re judging me…when Virgos J-O-B is judging. Said without shade, judgment is cognitive discernment. It’s what separates humans from the animal kingdom. We are  designed to judge. We’re all judging all day long. It’s how we make decisions. There is an exalted beneficial aspect to judgment….but it typically gets wielded as a defense mechanism - Virgos are sooo intelligent that they will have you tapping dancing around yourself convinced you’re ‘judging’ them when they’re gaslighting and deflecting from either messy emotions or straight up just not wanting to feel them or address them. They’d much rather criticize someone/thing else than work on their own emotional healing. Virgo doesn't do mess. Cause what’s the messiest human thing? Our emotions…and Virgo don’t like to do mess. So be clean when you’re trying to get emotional with a VIrgo and they have yet to do their healing and balancing work….they’re going to try and ‘out analyze’ the entire situation and have the other person thinking they’re undereducated and somehow wrong. 

In imbalance Virgo is the perfectionist and the procrastinator. Which are actually two sides of the same coin. The No mess, goal achieving themes of Virgo can also create incredible self sabotaging tendencies….NEVER starting projects because they KNOW there is no such thing as perfection (VIrgos can’t help but strive for it) and that can turn into futility…well if it can’t be perfect…then why even try? 

Ugh….this energy is so real but it’s not truth. We have to remember trying DOES move the dial forward. Our actions do matter, if we give up trying, we give up hope, and therefore will never find constructive solutions. 

This mutable earth sign must learn to pivot on the info it finds from analyzing, sifting, and sorting. It’s most empowered when it can let go of some details and implement, with a tad bit of mess…in order to get to a goal.

Virgo season marks the season of purification. Habits out of integrity with your soul frequency…it’s time to let them go.

Virgo rules the digestive system; the intestines and spleen most specifically so it’s a major season of cleaning up your foods or cracking your personal food code - it may just be time to figure out what works for you and what doesn’t. I’ll have more to offer on that at the end of the episode. This season will also have us processing what ‘we cannot stomach’ philosophically or literally. Remember the body communicates in LOUD ways for us to understand energy and emotions better - this season can be a loud one physically. It also offers huge upswing in physical healing, if we are willing to dive into the details of our food and physical self care.

In this bonus episode I am joined by two of my Magical Mentoring clients to share their experiences with and through the containers I hold.

There’s no way to explain what happens inside the containers of Magical Mentoring - because it is both practical and magical...it’s intuitive and has quite a bit of flow to it and there is structure, but it also unfolds in its own expression during the process.
