Leo Season 2023 Tarot Forecast

This episode is our single card tarot forecast for July 22nd - August 23rd 2023.

1 card for the spirit in which to move through things. 

This episode may have more weight or significance if you are a Leo native and have your sun, rising and or moon in this sign. 

Leo in the Tarot, in the Major Arcana -  is represented by The Strength card - In the traditional Rider Waite Smith deck it's depicted by a goddess petting a lion -  this card offers us 

an energy of a true midway point on the spectrum. It’s most traditionally placed as the 8th card - movement, circulation, empowerment, the balance of humanity and divinity, this is a focus on ourselves -  It says, you can attain your wants through will power….. IF and when we can make peace between our constructive AND non constructive ego. It greatly contributes out our personal magic and capacity to manifest/goal get/ and heal. 

The lion on this card is symbolism for the non-constructive ego. It is an expression of the patriarchal, toxic masculinity… a me, myself, and I - only - focus. It gives ‘I’ll have exactly what I want, by force….all others be damned’ mood. This is an  imbalanced expression of the Lion, of leo …all ego.

The constructive ego is represented by the goddess, the creatrix energy, divine life force, unconditional love of the rose energy, the divine feminine… aspects of ourselves.. 

The Strength card says, if we can tame our human 3D ego, our inner monsters, OR more commonly known as our shadows…

…..when we can learn to love our shadows but not let them lead… 

When we figure out how to move through the world with compassion, acceptance, grace, and self love….we then step into our true power and are able to weather or navigate any storm. 

We are then able to heal through anything no matter how long it might take…and the quieter, more gentle steps we take towards it, are rewarded. 

This card offers that the other side of the journey is worth the scratches and bites we might experience in our efforts to calm…but also respect the wild, fierce power of our primal life force energy. When we calm and care for our shadows, they can actually serve  us when we might need to call on them  to protect and hunt.

It says make friends with rage and anger, know when to unleash it for protection, change, and transformation. 

AND this card has always offered me, my readings, and my community the energy of Lilith. This is a longer conversation that I may offer in a separate episode but think using your voice for visibility, consideration, and equity AND roaring, setting boundaries, and protecting yourself with fierce pride through integrity says it all. 

Leo, as an energy of the zodiac, offers us: 

Honor Leo with play, pleasure, empowerment, all the sparkle, shine, bravado, selfies, and a dash of YOLO. 

Leo is a fixed fire energy - In the suites of the Tarot -  Fire is represented by wands - this is the element of magic, manifestation, willpower, enthusiasm, creativity, and playfulness.

Leo energy is also anger, frustration, and rage. 

Please take note that these are a part of the human spectrum of emotion and experience, they are all a part of the healing process, they are important and can be very powerful for change. 

We’ve mostly, as a culture only experienced anger as violence but it can also be massive cathartic change that says never again, not on my watch ... .not today patriarchy. 

Fire…is alchemy that transforms…raw food turns into a warm meal - dough turns into bread - at the end of the day it’s super creative magic - fire turns things from what you don’t want to what you do…because you will it so. 

This energy could feel like to ‘too’s’ too much, too driven, too feisty, too fast…perhaps too much hustle - there’s still a flag for burnout here….because…fire….if you’re sensitive to fire…if people being proud and big and out front living their best shameless life triggers you…there is curiosity here to delve into - where are you hiding? Where are you holding yourself back? Where does the unconscious internalized patriarchy have you thinking quieter, pleasing, and smaller is better?

I love me some leo season, as a leo rising, but this year has some additional considerations to it with the energetics of a Venus going RX in Leo July 22 - Chiron stationing Rx July 23rd…the nodes have just recently shifted resetting a macrocycle tone for the next 18 months (they shifted into Libra and Aries) + Mercury enters it’s Rxshade.

And as I record this episode I can’t help but think of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie that comes out July 21, 2023…for this Venus rx in Leo adventure…from the write ups and director there’s twists that honestly, I am super excited and on board for…now I may change my tune after seeing it, but based on the director alone... this feminist is IN. 

If the Barbie movie doesn’t say Venus rx in Leo,I don’t know what does.

Smile for the camera, it’s Leo Season!

In this episode we dive deep into Leo season and playful, bravery, step-out-front-you-only-live-once vibes it offers us July 22nd - August 23rd 2023. 

This cycle, as always, offers us some distinct shifts in the astrology. 

Venus stations Rx, Chiron stations Rx, Mercury moves into virgo, full moon in Aquarius, Mercury moves into its retroshade, and we have a New Moon in Leo.

The overall vibes feel full of fun and potential..and yet..we’ve been forewarned that we’re still in healing and bolstering mode. Don’t blow your wad, don’t start running, flex your li8on lying in the sun that has their partner bringing them everything they need (we all know the lady lions are the one that provide). Work on your regal energy that has your frequency set to receive, receive, receive. It’s giving sitting in your thrown power pose vibes, it’s giving goddess bath vibes…and it’s giving satin or silk robe vibes. 

For some of us, we slide into the yes-you-can-wait-on-me room service vibes as if we have always sat on the high seat in the priestesses temple…for others that internalized patriarchy still has a chokehold on people pleasing, taking scraps, and saying i’m sorry 15 times a day. It’s going to take some effort and a willingness to get uncomfortable to make strides to your leo frequency. 

This season is about confidence. Unapologetic glimmering…and this year…it’s from the chaise lounge, from your desk chair, from your couch, from a rock alongside a trail ... .it's an understanding of our divine rights and inherent glory nature as children of both the cosmic expanse and of earth. 

Leo energy is a mood. It’s not a bank account.

Leo says, I know who I am. I know my worth. I expect and accept miracles. Not out of ego that says what I get takes something away from someone else…but out of constructive ego that says I get this incarnation to shine as bright as I can in exaltation of source magic. It says I am source magic and so are you. It says I am wonderful and you are wonderful and being human CAN be wonderful for all of us….if and when we stop playing small and use our voice to demand equity. 

The Leo mantra is, I will. 

Leo is Strength, from the inside out. It’s empowerment. It’s knowing your worth is inherent and has nothing to do with dollars. 

Leo is the Lion. The biggest heart of the zodiac. Leo is wired to be out front, as a teacher or a performer. The energy wants us to take all the selfies and lead by example - that confidence comes from loving ourselves, our personal wins and successes inspire others. It says I am the sovereign royalty of this matrix…this is my territory…I protect it fiercely…and if you cross the boundary ... .I'm going to bite your head off…you had a clear warning…so don’t act surprised when the claws and teeth come out. I deserve to take up space, I deserve the best and anyone who thinks otherwise will be dismissed. 

In Balance, Leo is epic love and exalted support. Filled with constructive pride for self, family, and anyone they love. The energy is the best corner person in a fight - they’ll wipe your wounds, fill you with words of praise to get you pumped up, hydrate you, smear gloss on your lips and send you back out…ready to be your  backup if you need. 

You know clearly when a Leo loves you. They hold hands, and pet those they love, they shower you with words of praise and give the best hugs. They’re the most fun entourage…always opting for table service, with a seat up front, or a way to skip the line. Leo will help build and support your goals - especially the entrepreneurial ones -  like no one else. They truly want abundance and joy for all…they know that we all deserve it. Leo wants you to feel ROYAL. 

What most people don’t tell you about Leo energy, is it’s really a kitty cat at heart. Actually quite shy. It too, needs a fierce team that will love them as presently and fiercely as they love. They can get typecast as egocentric - constantly seeking external approval…when really the energy just needs to know that their efforts are valued. That what they are teaching, giving, doing, performing is wanted, needed, and appreciated…cause otherwise…why waste the make-up?

Leo’s need for approval comes from a very genuine place. It’s wired to be out front. Not everyone is. Being out front is risky. Vulnerable..and can feel really unsafe at times…they need to know they at least have a safe den to return to. 

Leo energy is big, and unabashed love, desire, and celebration. 

What is given, is fairly expected in return. 

It doesn’t do martyrdom. It knows its worth. 

Leo is pleasure, and play. 

Sex and equity.

…sound like anyone else we know? Aphrodite? Lilith vibes anyone?

Leo is true shameless empowerment. 

Ain’t no shame here…only goddess nature.

Exalted Leo energy IS liberated, heart expansive love with confidence. 

In Imbalance all the attributes that create Leo beauty quickly turn to its downfall in imbalance. Self centered ego can truly take hold. Anger and rage steal the show and burn the jungle down…pulling in major self sabotage. It can get caught in thinking likes and shares are real love with true value. It can rule as a dictator and trip on itself thinking Leo values are the only values. It can get vain and roll with perception and exteriors -  that prevent grounded value. If/when leo feels ignored or undervalued for too long - they will roar, bite, swipe and scratch to get attention. 

Ego and Heart beware.. in Leo season. 

Just as equally as Leo is brave with brave authenticity and a heart centric path only…it can get kicked and told to step aside for higher learning and wisdom. 

This energy wants growth…but not at all costs.

Growth with spirit and soul worth…only.  

Leo simply cannot thrive unless it LOVES the path it prowls. 

Leo only grows forward; it CANNOT go backwards or the results will not be present. 

Leo marks the season of enthusiasm and joy. It’s playful and connected to our inner child. It has us seeking and cultivating fun, fun, fun….and it can also show the stark contrast out loud in the mirror of how little joy, pleasure, and fun fill our days. 

Leo says - do the thing. OVER DRESS - be the star in our own show - everyday - even if it’s in your own apartment. Leo says take the selfie. Leo says ONLY head down the path of your heart's desire. Be your own biggest fan, vote for yourself,  and take no mind of the haters ...cause they especially want to be as free and confident as Leo..otherwise they wouldn’t hate. 

Leo rules the heart, spine, spinal column, and upper back; It’s all about  feeling like someone has your back, that you’ve got others back, what, who, and how you love….out loud, words of praise, and protection. When it comes to wellness, Leo is strong and fierce and needs to keep its strength up. They do, afterall, rule the jungle. This energy needs a balance of catlike reflexes, supple, sexy, fluid, strength…and REST remember how much time they spend lying around? Their flex keeps most predators at bay…

Leo season encourages us to get honest about what makes us happy and will push the ways we may be keeping said happiness from ourselves. 

Vibe check…are you committed to your own joy? We’re pulling in a little 4 of Wands energy here ...pleasure doesn’t just drop in our lap, we have to tend to a garden if we want it to grow…if we ignore the garden it can dry up and die. How are you tending to the garden of your heart? This season will either amplify it or challenge it. 

It is time to be brave, bold, and courageous in exploring your heart’s truth.

This is a time to play. Get silly. Dopamine dress. Act under your age. Do something that’s a little YOLO. sing karaoke. Post the selfies out of self respect - cause you are one of the universe’s works of art - you are meant to be seen. 

Let me repeat  this is a time of pleasure, play, joy, abundance AND bolstering your energetic coins in your frequency bank

We're all working with this energy in this season, in similar yet different ways.

This particular Leo season offers some extra magic because Venus Rx is looping her cosmic rose through the sign OF leo. This is all the aphrodite vibes of strength and flex, pleasure, and the energy….as my magical mentees of…. fuck around and find out…Venus rules our finances and love.  

There's a trickster energy here. In the tarot the trickster is The Magician…we’re massively getting called to remember unexpected manifestations reside here. FUN ONES! Pleasurable ones. Delightful ones. There’s a frequency here of What if everything went right? What if the weirdest fallout has the best recovery? 

This season calls us into the unique and authentic  miraculous expression of divinity we are. 

It’s time to sparkle - unabashedly.

This episode is a feed drop from The Goddess Complex podcast! 

This is THE topic at the heart of the work I hold space for, and the work I am called to do in this lifetime. 

As spiritual seekers we know we are so much more than our physical body…and the current spiritual community/culture has to some extent has taught us to ignore the vessel based on this… and although we ARE absolutely a spiritual being having a physical experience -we are deeply tied to our physical vessel. Without it we would not be here. Our vessel is so sacred. As the home of our soul it IS heaven on earth. And although we know we are more than this vessel…and although our soul DOES and can remember its limitless expansiveness and stardust beginnings…the soul doesn’t always register that it’s separate from our vessel in this incarnation….it’s tied to this life experience through it. 

This is a beautiful entanglement that our brain and, I think, colonized spiritual teachings have massively mangled.

Cancer/Summer Season 2023 Tarot Forecast

This episode is our five card tarot pull for the next zodiac season, as well as the season as the globe turns and the light shifts…Summer in the northern hemisphere and winter in the southern hemisphere - one card for:

Cancer energy is represented by The Chariot in the tarot - it offers a heavy dose of both the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine in a unique way. It offers us the driver's seat in this lifetime. IF and when we can overcome our over-giving, martyrdom habits...as well as our habits of force based willpower…or our damn wound of worthiness.  It’s a synthesis of feminine and masculine…in many ways it’s completely fluid, non-binary in its exaltation.

The Chariot puts us in the driver’s seat and says drive your lane or change lanes…it’s up to you boo…it calls us to up to our capacity to harmonize ourselves from the inside out….ya’ll the reasons we’re not going anywhere? The call is coming from inside the house..it you boo. Whatchu gonna do about it? 

Schedule that tune up, trade in, and map that adventure. IT’S TIME to move out of the driveway. 

It’s all about short trips…think road trips…vehicles, lot’s of driving, going somewhere vs. stalling out.

The Chariot - number 7 of the major arcana - is a transition from the outside to the inside. It begins a new glow up. It’s a bit of a ‘test’....the info you have gathered, the work you’ve done…it signals a time to apply said lessons and tools. 

And in numerology we think 7 as lucky number 7 - but what is luck? It’s when preparation meeting timing….the timing is this window…now…have you been preparing for your next adventure/journey? It’s about to be time.

Welcome in, Cancer Season/Summer/Winter Solstice!

In this episode we dive deep into Cancer season and all the cozy, loving, nourishing, and supportive maintenance it offers us June 21st - July 21st 2023…AND…quick witchy unicorn PSA - this is also an episode to take notes on. It’s also our energetic overview and guidance for the next 4 months; June 21st - September 23rd 2023.  

The Summer Solstice will take place TODAY (if you’re listening the day this is published) Wednesday, June 21st in the northern hemisphere. A Solstice is one of two times a year when the sun’s path is farthest north or south from the earth’s equator - sounds like magic already - when the sun is farthest north from the earth’s ecuador, here in the northern hemisphere… welcomes summer, in the south…winter.

For those listening not in the northern hemisphere the seasons are different -  but the energies of the astrology, zodiac, and channeled guidance -  are the same. So, as always, take what resonates with you and leave the rest, there are always magic sparks here for everyone. 

If you were with me as a listener last year - THANK YOU - you might remember that it wasn’t about a #hotgirlsummer it was all about the #hothermitsummer…..now this year the channeled insight coming through thinks it’s real funny...because this year they’re offering up hot witches summer. 

And what does that mean you might ask…I mean..I asked as it moved through….

It means this next season is a time of brewing your magic. Not particularly of healing but of gathering and essentially stashing energy. Imagine putting gold stars in a bank all summer long and each start is not a coin per se but it is an energetic resource.

This season says, don’t make big wishes or bet on major manifestations…it says grow your capacity…stash your magic away ...sit on it…and bolster your coffers. 

It says meditate. Get on the mat. Fuel with intention and pleasure to bolster and flourish from the inside out. Read books. Get in nature. Hang with friends. ENJOY yourself….but don’t roll off the rails instead of reckless abandon…bolster yourself with things you love, that expand your heart and mind. Lean into the care of yourself as a pleasure practice rather than an omg-i-have-to-do this-and-it’s-draining-me practice. 

This season is this interesting blend of being very present, playful, and pleasurable…with a mission that come fall you’re going to be well bolstered for whatever wish, intention, goal you will feel called to make and make good on. 

There is maintenance here. There is also massive frequency expansion. 

If you listened to the episode about this year 2023 (both the gregorian and astrological new year Jan and March this year) I talked about how 2023 is slated to bring us more healing, abundance, joy, pleasure, love, joy, calm, and peace than we’ve ever known before….we’re in the window of this NOW with this seasonal shift. 

Does it mean things are easy and smooth sailing..perhaps..for some..but likely no..my community and listeners, clients, and members…well our energetics seem to massively push us for healing and for us to blossom into these next up levels, we’ll need to have truly moved through some lessons, we’ll need to be taking new and different actions, as well as moving and responding in healthier and more equitable ways…signaling to the Universe that we have healed, that we understand where we needed growth or surrender and we are now willing and showing up like the energetic badasses we are. 

This season marks an opportunity to walk our talk in bigger and more consistent ways. 

It’s all well and good to talk the talk…especially in Gemini season…or to spiritually bypass and be ‘positive’ and grateful…but it’s quite another to accept situations, past or present  and take constructive action, that signals…I have grown…I put myself on the scales…I navigate based on my intellect, intuition, and heart EQUALLY…I tend to desires and dreams as equally as I take care of my food, water, shelter. I re-mystify my life and welcome magic in AND I am super practical and handle the numbers. I no longer play small. I’m ready for my life by design…and be clear this magical life by design…this is a grand title but it doesn’t need to mean it’s fanciful or adrenaline fused. Your most magical life mind be down right BORING to someone else..but beautiful calm foundations may sound boring to a celebrity obsessed culture, but it may be your deepest desire. 

Your wish is yours. 

It’s all you. 

It’s your deepest heart’s desire. 

It’s your soul calling

It gives no fucks and accepts no side eyes and it does not receive feedback. 

It’s between you and the goddesses. Between you and the Universe. No one else….it might INCLUDE others, but before you even reach that point….it’s you and the magic.

So, this summer, do the things that make you feel witchiest and powerful, peaceful, empowered, and like the person you most want to be. 

How do you grow into the person you want to be?

Think about it. Dream it up. Journal it out…then fake it till you make it...this magical version of yourself? She’s in there. She may just need practice to fully evolve. 

Lean deeper into that this summer. 

What does your inner witch need to grow?  That’s the question to ask this June, July, and August…but make sure you’re not just asking….take action with the insight that comes. 

These are the main messages for this season summer in the northern hemisphere/winter in the south….don’t go making a million wishes, casting a ton of spells…store up your frequency for when the universe directs us to focus and take laser aim on our next big manifestation.

Now, let’s talk Cancer basics. Because the Summer solstice occurs when the sun enters Cancer - the fourth sign of the zodiac chart. Cancer is the crab of the chart. It’s a cardinal  water sign, ruled by the Moon (oooh, the feels ya’ll)  and represented by the THE CHARIOT card in the Tarot - let’s take a hot second to pause on this - if you’re following along in my newsletter or IG stories - of are in Magical Mentoring…..you KNOW this is important - because The Chariot is the card of the year for 2023. 

Back in Summer of 2022 I let you know, here on the pod, that last summer was foreshadowing THIS ENTIRE YEAR. So, number 1 - think back, what was going on LAST summer/winter (depending on hemispheres) for you? Number 2 - do some leaning into my Deep Dive into the Chariot if you bought the master class earlier this year - and if you didn’t i am SO sorry butit is not currently available….If I’ve got time to do a bonus episode on it, I will, I’ll try to drop some love on this in IG stories as well in the next 2 weeks…

It’s all about short trips…think road trips…vehicles, lot’s of driving, going somewhere vs. stalling out.

The Chariot - number 7 of the major arcana - is a transition from the outside to the inside. It begins a new glow up. It’s a bit of a ‘test’....the info you have gathered, the work you’ve done…it signals a time to apply said lessons and tools. 

And in numerology we think 7 as lucky number 7 - but what is luck? It’s when preparation meeting timing…the timing is this window…now…have you been preparing for your next adventure/journey? It’s about to be time. 

Cancer’s mantra is I FEEL. Cancer is GREAT at loving, supporting, and nourishing things. It is soft, subtle, sweet. It carries amazing capacity to truly balance our human-ness - our humanity. Cancer is wired to care.

In Balance Cancer is the great mother energy. The crab of the chart. It scuttles between the ocean and the sand - earth and water - psychic, intuitive, healing, knowing, softness and the 3D implementation of work, effort, bolstering, and nourishing. It wants to generate good human’s above all else - Cancer is known as the great mother energy - in balance that starts with themselves…with self care/ boundaries, dare I say balanced flow of work and rest -  giving and receiving….. In order to lead by example, model healthy, constructive behaviors, teach, nourish, hold space, support, and help others. TELL THE STORY - 

In imbalance Cancer straight becomes the martyr… the imbalance says I have to do everything because a. No one else is capable (spoiler alert…that’s not true…we’re just being control freaks) b. No one cares c. No one ever shows up for me  d. I don’t communicate my needs or set boundaries (DING DING DING - we must all learn to recruit help, take things off our plate, and simply admit….certain things aren’t that important and no one is actually going to die). 

If I were to throw a little shade here…I’d offer that Cancerian energy, tho it is the great mother energy of the chart, in imbalance can be emotionally  immature…thinking that worth and love are earned, or that someone’s magically coming to take care of them/things. It runs both routes as it is a water sign and can run the rails of too dreamy and run into escapism or delusion. 

Cancer rules the chest, stomach, womb, and breasts When we talk about cancer in relation to self care, wellness, and my online studio, Unicorn Wellness, we’re going to be working with releasing guilt, cultivating a fair emotional labor load, boundaries, co-dependency -and  focusing on relationships perhaps more than focusing on yourself 

For members of UnicornWellnessStudio.com, in this Cancer season You’ll see more chest and shoulder work to open and strengthen our heart & throat chakras to keep or get us into empowerment through boundaries and self love rather than hiding in relationships, codependency or simply loving others without an equitable balance. 

Members will work with shoulder flossing, hug the floor, clamshells, and my signature crab series to ground generate fluid strength-  to know when to give and when to take. 

Because what we learn on the mat, absolutely influences our life off the mat in conscious unconscious ways. 

When you trust your body, when you strengthen your body, when you generate mobility and flexibility in your body….it generates those things outside of your wellness time too. 

Cancerian energy is fierce once it knows how to set and keep boundaries, when to care for the self vs. others, and when to be honest about how sensitive they really are..and what kinds of action and boundaries it will take to keep them stable and safe.

Energetically we always tend to all seven traditional energy centers, this cycle pays extra attention to the heart and throat.

Welcome in, Gemini Season!

In this episode we dive deep we dive into Gemini season and all the exploring, chatting, talking, networking, and data collecting it offers us May 21st - June 21st 2023. 

Gemini season comes in like a breath of fresh air to lighten things up….just make sure all the air doesn’t whisk you so far off your feet that it wooshes you away like Dorothy in the wizard of oz. 

Shoutout to all my Gemini natives, sun, rising, and moon. Welcome home! My dear natives, it’s time to play. 

Gemini is Spring's last cycle.The seeds we planted in Aries, and tended to in Taurus, are either sprouting, or you’re wondering if they’re going to…. 

THAT’S OK. We are in a process of exploration. 

It’s time to gather some more data. 

Sit in your feelings, check in with your to-do lists and processes….this is the cycle you decide to keep going with these seeds/project/ideas, or let go…based on the data you’ll collect in the next 30 days. This is a turning point. 

Don’t think you know, before you know. 

Get curious, stay curious. 

Let this full cycle roll through before you make decisions.

This cycle, as always, offers us some distinct shifts in the astrology. A full moon in Sagittarius, Venus moves into Leo, Pluto Rx enters Capricorn, Mercury moves into Gemini, Saturn Rx, and a new moon in Gemini…the overall vibes feel more gentle than that of eclipse season…but honestly was isn’t more gentle..lol…packed with transformation, plentiful with potential…but challenging to grab a hold of and get grounded if you are handfasted to your personal grounding and harmonization. And how do we do that…you know boo, through care of the self. Self care is powerful..and ridiculously magical…micro-dose your magic through your daily practices.

The Gemini mantra is I THINK

Gemini is a mutable air sign it moves with the wind, 

Gemini is curiosity above all else. 

Gemini is an exalted duality. The twins of the zodiac. The talkers. Sometimes two-faced. Obsessed with gathering information… and can change on a dime. Gemini is willing to change their mind based on new information and new experiences.

Gemini has the capacity to truly transmute information into wisdom and spread the truth if they can get grounded long enough to do so.

They are all things communication; talking, writing, reading, messaging, likes, and re-shares.

It's time to connect with others, to be open to new perspectives and insight, share the insight you've got, be willing to be wrong, or put things into play and aim for integration.

But for me, your mentor, PLEASE try not to get lost in Gemini energy. Just because you hear it or you say it ...don't make it true.

Gemini’s true lesson in this lifetime is wisdom. To take the information it has, make a decision, have an experience with that decision - then synthesize the info and experience to generate wisdom based on all three aspects; info, decision, experience. 

AND MOVE ON.

Gemini, a swirling expansion of limitless Air, needs some sort of container in order to exhibit its highest good in this lifetime. Gemini needs grounding, above all else.

it’s time to get into nature, into your vessel, to check & double check facts, DO YOUR RESEARCH, meditate, get on the mat. → embodiment practice consistency is key for Gemini sun, rising, and moon’s but also - for this season…because WHY? Because the fastest way out of your head, out of overthinking, out of spiraling, and out of intrusive thoughts…is to get IN to the BODY. Gemini, air, needs a container. 

Think of Gemini as helium. It’s just gas, potentially harmful if let loose,  unless it has a container - you put a  balloon and string on that thing, then it’s pure magic!

In imbalance, Gemini is noise, gossip, and drama shit stirring… & indecisiveness, flakey, immature, and the verbal vomit spiral that has us expending energy moving words around… giving us the facade of accomplishing something, but never getting anything done. It wastes time AND energy. 

Gemini in imbalance will have us gaslit with gorgeous words, thinking that all the swirling talk is productivity... when really…we spent the whole day talking/thinking the parameters of the issues and are now exhausted, and simply can’t move on. And therefore stays stuck with zero implementation or progress. 

Gemini in imbalance is swirling air. A squall in the middle of a northern winter. It can blind us to what is true simply by being noisy. 

Not only can the energy be noisy…it can also be nosy…in this season…be careful to mind your own business, stay in your lane and be on the lookout for ‘helpers’ who are actually driving in YOUR lane and potentially pushing you off the road. Boundaries beware in Gemini season. 

In Balance Gemini is enthusiastic, energetic, adaptable, clever, and intelligent. 

This energy generates the wise, outgoing teachers, professors & masters that will lead others into expansive, joyful, mastery of their own...when they finally move out of quick fix info consumption, memorization/regurgitation, right vs. wrong, win vs. lose navigation 

Into, at what cost, what is the goal, how do we solve in this one moment, what can we ground and implement to create change and manifestation?

The brightest light of Gemini energy is that they will tell you they believe something one day, and tell you they believe something else the next…not out of flakiness…because they learned something new that expanded their perspective…in exaltation THIS IS WHAT GROWTH AND EXPANSION LOOK LIKE.

Exalted Gemini energy IS duality. Gemini is the YES - AND….two opposite things CAN exist at the same time, and BOTH be true. It just needs to identify and root into what is true, in this moment. For me or for this issue. Focus, focus, refinement, and anchoring is the name of the gemini game. 

Gemini marks the season of conversations, writing, learning, educating, reading, and messaging. It can be so sweetly social and playful….it can also get newsy, noisy, gossipy, messy, dying a quick doom scrolling death….flat out exhausted. 

I encourage you to budget your news and social media time in this season. Set the timers, put your phone away from your bedside. Actively and on purpose tap out at a certain point in the day and do not return till the next.

It is time to connect with others, to expand where you may have been stuck. It’s a time to share what you've got, plant that brilliant idea -  while being willing to be wrong. 

It’s a time to put things into play but pivot with wisdom, experience & integration when you need to.

This is a time of gathering data, getting curious, and getting majorly GROUNDED. 

We all have Gemini in our charts somewhere. 

We're all working with this energy in this season, in similar yet different ways.

For those who are super sensitive to air energy - it might feel like  an escalation of anxiety and overthinking or intrusive thoughts. Head to your self care techniques. Get into your body any way you can. Work your journaling, use the brain dump method, jot the thoughts, schedule that extra session with your therapist. If you know you’re prone to anxiety or overthinking, prep and support it. 

This is the reminder that you have tools. USE THEM. And if you feel like you don’t have tools or need new ones, DM or message me and I can help direct you towards the new or the next that might help. 

Don’t ignore or think it’s not going to be a thing….it’s a thing. The thing is now. Be a problem solver, not a problem maker. 

Air is the element of thought; intellect, acumen, thought process, ideas, downloads, and channeling. There is brilliance and breakthrough here. Clarity will come if we make clarity welcome. Sift sort and ground. Told you you’d get tired of hearing about  the grounding. 

Gemini rules the torso; shoulders, lungs, arms, and hands. Think inspiration, expiration…and talking with their hands. When it comes to wellness, I *might have mentioned* earlier that Gemini needs grounding above all else. And BIG TIME. Gemini can offer expansive education but it truly amounts to nothing if it can’t get its roots in the 3D - it bears repeating - the very best way to get ‘out of your head’ is to get into the body. 

The vessel is the gateway for Gemini energy. This body, in this lifetime, can  take all the swirling, twirling thoughts, concepts, understandings and bright ideas and move them forward through action. Gemini season is truly a time when our UnicornWellnessStudio mat practice shines. 

When we feel confused, overwhelmed, stuck in our thoughts, finding it super hard to get focused, too focused on the future, and/or brewing anxiety…GET ON THE MAT….the Unicorn Wellness mat practice sift, sorts, organizes, and offers an energetic clean sweep of our thoughts, inspiration, and ideas. The mat is our witchiest broom to clear and organize energy. When we leave the mat…it’s a whole new ballgame of what we can implement, and do with our ideas and concepts.
