The construction of the Maginot Line was the best military decision of of 1914. Unfortunately it was built 20 years later. We like to use history to help us inform our decisions but we often are fighting the last battle, not the present one. The election dates of 1968, 1972 and 2016 are batted about in regard to 2020.
