Are you anti-niche? Do you feel if you niche down in your business, you might lose out on some opportunities?

I understand the fear, but having worked on hundreds of campaigns for some of top brands in the world, and coaching social sellers on their personal brands, I want you to hear this: If you are talking to everyone, you are talking to no one.

People often tell me they don't want to niche down because they've got a lot of interests and passions and they want to express them all! I get it, so do I! But guess what, your social media platform is not your whole essence of who you are. It does not need to be a 360 degree view of your life!

If it's not clear in your social media feed WHO you are talking to and HOW you can help them, you will lose more people to confusion than you will to niching down.

The purpose of social media, when it comes to your business is to:

1. Create authentic connections with your target audience

2. Have conversations that grow your business

3. Allow people to find you

Ready to talk about creating your very own Personal Brand Pillars?

Are you asking "what the heck are Personal Brand Pillars?"

Visualize with me for a sec.

Imagine that your personal brand is a sandbox.

- All of the favorite toys that you put into your sandbox must also be toys that are really relevant to your playmate in the sandbox. Your playmate is your dream avatar.

- The toys are the brand pillars and your content are basically playing the game.

Your brand pillars are games you are playing in the sandbox and your content is the rules of the game. As always, we will be doing a little exercise in this episode. I will ask you to think of three to five brand pillars. For example, Priorities, Mindset, Self-care, etc.

In today's episode of the Magnetic Marketing and Mindset Show, I am going to show you how you create personal brand pillars.

I also discuss the fact that it's ok NOT to be perfect when you start something and that it's OK to change along the way. Because guess what, your brand can evolve with you. It's okay to evolve, to pivot, and refine.

Welcome to Part 3 of your Mini Personal Branding workshop.

The real magic happens in the personal branding magnetic overlap! This is where your passions and interests interest with your avatar's you and your avatar have in common.

To find the magnet in the middle:

1. Narrow down and group our passions and interests.

2. Identify the needs, interests, and desires of your avatar.

3. Figure out the overlap.

• Name, age, gender
• Relationship status, family details (single/married, do they have kids, etc.)
• Current income and occupation
