It's a MalaCast Marathon!
In this second consecutive bonus episode, I discuss the novel Bud Light virus:
The WHO tells us how to talk about the virus (Don't say "transmit")
A Vox.com reporter tells us Pres Trump is irresponsible for suspecting aloud that the true death rate is <1%.
I suppose so must Slate.com's Jeremy Samuel Faust, who also happens to be a Harvard Medical instructor: https://slate.com/technology/2020/03/coronavirus-mortality-rate-lower-than-we-think.html
I play a clip from UPenn's Maurice Hilleman Professor of Vaccinology who paints a fairly unalarming picture.
One thing's for sure: There is an epidemic of leftists who can't understand the President when he says words that a first grader can grasp with ease. This week's listening incomprehension comes from the aptly named @Politidope who says that President Trump "[told] the country it's okay to go to work with Coronavirus. I'm not kidding." He didn't.
By my count this is the fifth example of the left's wishful listening:
1) Grab em by the pussy without consent
2) All Mexicans are rapists
3) Neo Nazis are fine people
4) Coronavirus is a hoax
5) Go to work with Coronavirus
