By my count this is the fifth example of the left's wishful listening:

1) Grab em by the pussy without consent

2) All Mexicans are rapists

3) Neo Nazis are fine people

4) Coronavirus is a hoax

5) Go to work with Coronavirus

Chris Matthews seems to have been fired for being a dork who clumsily complimented women.  In the hands of the MeToo zealots who can see only female oppression behind the innocent comments of Old White Men (OWM), this was a true outrage.  I can't even muster a little sense of schadenfreude due to the fact that Chris is a lefty -- this is simply an irrational career assassination and it's outrageous.

I revisit the "creationists shouldn't be in any roles related to public health" topic.  If that's true, then why:

1) Isn't California doing great with various health issues, including tuberculosis?  Why are there needles about and homeless encampments and bits of feces on the sidewalk?  The leaders of CA are about as irreligious as it gets in the USA (in the traditional sense of the word "irreligious").

2) Didn't China handle the initial outbreak better?  Instead, it lied, covered up, and threatened those who were trying to report the truth.  And it probably goes without saying:  How can you cure or contain something you don't acknowledge?

Then a heartwarming story of how a woman lost everything and, somehow, an ABC 13 umbrella made it all better.

Everybody from Sky News anchor Adam Boulton to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to Liv Boeree thinks that putting a creationist in charge of handling the coronavirus is bananas.  It's a cheap point that is just an expression of bigotry more than it is a legitimate concern.

Democrats are talking about "inequality" more than ever.  But in the ways that really matter, inequality is dropping like a rock.

Deontay Wilder fired one of his cornermen and I think this has something in common with NASA's Challenger disaster and Alitalia Flight 404's crash.
