Though presented as an altruistic act, Ryan explains how these stunts feed into the expansive "Mr Beast" brand, at a time when it looks like Donaldson is running out of ideas. Ryan also explains Donaldson's failed attempts to be accepted by mainstream culture and how, despite his massive following, it seems unlikely he'll ever make a break into mainstream TV.
