“If you want to attract an authentic tribe you have to be willing to take the risk of showing up in the truth of who you are.” 

In my youth, as a new immigrant in New York City, I believed that belonging meant fitting in. I did everything I could to fit into this new and unfamiliar world. In doing so - I erased myself. 

That was never true belonging. 

Today I strive for true belonging. True belonging can only begin once you shed your artifice and stand in the truth of who you are. In this space you will become a beacon, and those who are meant for you will easily be able to find their way to your side.
