“Allow the nothingness to come up, because that is where you meet yourself.”
For so much of my life I was focused on ‘doing’, but as I began to slow down and allow the opportunity of nothingness into my life, I was stunned to find what depth it brings.
It’s through the quiet that we find our connection with ourselves - the deepest connection that we can ever feel. And through imbuing that self-connection with love we can rise to higher heights in our ability to connect deeply not only with ourselves, but with others, as well.
Today’s Journal Prompt:
Where can you find a space in your day to breathe and sit in stillness, even if just for a minute?

What if you moved through life knowing that rain is coming.. but not rushing through the rain? What if you chose to walk through the rain knowing that the rainbow is always going to be on the other side? What if you asked the universe for that rainbow and stayed present through each moment of rain until the rainbow appeared?
How would that change our experience as we walk through this life?
One morning on the beach on St. Barts I did just that, and it allowed me to experience life and beauty in the most expansive form. This episode is a message just for you from that incredible day.
Today’s Journal Entry:
Where in your life can you stay present in a moment that the world tells you to run from? What beauty could be awaiting you on the other side?

“For the experience of the greatest love of my life I had to be willing to risk to lose it all.”
I have been married for 30 years. It has been the most transformative container for growth that I have experienced in my life. One of my biggest lessons I’ve learned? You cannot control the behavior of your partner.
So many women I work with come to me with the same question: Now that I am on this journey of awakening and growth, how can I invite my husband to do this work for himself so that our relationship can evolve? The truth is - growth is his choice.
In order to grow to my fullest potential, I had to risk my marriage and my family. It was the ultimate act of surrender in my journey to fully love myself.
Today’s Journal Prompt:
Where in life am I trying to manage the growth of my partner? Where can I surrender and put that energy back into myself?

“We can never get to the life that we want by not liking the life that we currently have.”
For so long, I showed up in my life as a fighter. I was always ready for battle - and fighting life as it unfolded. I was manifesting life through a need to control the circumstances. It felt like a constant struggle, and eventually it became too exhausting.
I had to shift how I related to life itself. I shifted away from one who was constantly fighting the experience of life to one who allowed life to lead her. It has made all the difference.
My life is now a blank canvas. One that I co-create with the universe. I no longer prepare myself for potential setbacks for challenges that life might throw my way. I know my strength, I can face those moments as they come, but preparing for them only meant that I was dragging the past with me to color the future.
Today’s Journal Prompt:
Where are you resisting life? What areas of your life deserve reverence and acceptance as you build your dream life upon what currently is?

I’ve always found joy in celebrating other people. I have poured myself into creating beautiful experiences for those I love and respect to show them how much I love them. Yet, when the tables were turned and people were celebrating me, I always felt a guilt ridden hint of disappointment.
This all changed on my 46th birthday when I made a big decision - I was going to celebrate myself. It was a decision that changed my life. It taught me the beauty of receiving, and the beauty of desire.
I want that for you, too. For only when we truly tap into our deepest desires do we blossom into our fullest selves.
Today’s Journal Prompt:
What is one way that you can celebrate yourself?

Female friendships were something I struggled with for so long due to betrayals and wounding I experienced when I was young. Yet, as I began to heal and soften into my feminine, female friendships finally began to feel safe. In these friendships I have been able to show up more authentically than ever before.
Lately, I’ve been noticing that this wounding in female friendships exists for so many successful women. We have been encouraged to gate keep, to draw strong boundaries, and to relate to other women through a financial lens.
Today, I want to challenge that.
Journal Prompt:
What would happen if you lowered the gate and accepted female connection solely for the authentic beauty of that connection? What could you discover? What could you learn?

“As a woman, you are allowed to be angry.”
Our sacred feminine energy is not just limited to softness and tenderness. It is also important to embrace the feminine fire that lives within all of us. The sacred rage that burns in your chest that we have so often been told not to express.
It has a story to tell.
It is the rage of the women who came before you, and your own personal rage for all of the ways that you were allowed and not allowed to experience and express.
Can you invite it to the surface? Can you let it speak? Can you ask it to dance?
Today’s Journal Prompt:
What is your relationship with your anger?

My exploration into my feminine softness has been one of the most expansive journeys of my life.
For so long, I performed the role that society told me to play - a person who was hard, controlled, solid, concise and to the point. A person operating from the masculine. As time went by this began to feel so deeply constricting. I was not living in the fullness or completeness of who I was as a woman. Through personal shadow work and through community with other women I have called my feminine to the surface and allowed her to take her rightful seat at the table.

“I started to see that so often saying ‘yes’ to others was saying ‘no’ to myself.”
I often ask women to tell me who they are without speaking about their jobs or their families.
This is an extremely hard question for women to answer.
The reason why is because our identities are so wrapped up in who we are for others. Through this focus outward we have lost track of who we truly are.
There is a path back to yourself, though. A path where you begin saying ‘yes’ to yourself instead of ‘yes’ to everyone else. It starts by setting down the identities you play for others, stepping away from codependency, and stepping into a balanced state of interdependence. Through this self-love you can begin to welcome your true self back into your heart.

“What if there was nothing wrong with you? What if there was nothing to fix? What if everything that hurt and felt broken was simply asking for your love and acceptance?”
As little girls, the world is constantly telling us who to be. None of those messages encouraged us to be fully who we are. It caused such a fragmentation inside of me, a burying of so many pieces of my true self so that I could show up in the way that society dictated that I should.
After five decades of living like this, I felt it begin to fall away on the streets of Paris. I began to say ‘no’ to all that I had held in an attempt to be loved and accepted. I began to welcome back my feminine, heal past wounds, and embrace the discarded parts of my identity. In Paris I became the whole woman I was always meant to be.
I want that for you, too.
Today’s Journal Prompt:
“What is one part of your identity that you are ready to set down in order to be a more whole version of yourself?”
