In October 2000, two women named Mary Morris were murdered days apart in Harris County, Texas. Authorities have said they haven’t found a link between the cases, both of which remain unsolved, but the families say the coincidences are too suspicious to ignore.

Three days later, Mary McGinnis Morris was found dead inside her car. Both women had husbands and families and were said to be well-liked with no known enemies. The similarities were striking, especially given the women's names. Theories abound in the case, one being that someone, possibly a hitman, killed the wrong Mary Morris first and then rectified their mistake.
