The loss of a baby, whatever the gestation, is a devastating event for mothers and their families. It is crucial that care and support is tailored to the needs of the woman or birthing person and their family, culturally sensitive and aware.
Timed to mark Baby Loss Week, this session will explore the key aspects of what midwives can do in terms of assessing the needs of the woman, and planning compassionate, dynamic care.
We welcome Kirsty, bereaved mother and co-founder of 4Louis who is joining us to share her experience, and talk about the work that her wonderful charity does to provide support and resources for parents after miscarriage, stillbirth and child loss, and improve information for those who care for parents.
