In this second part of my time spent with Conrad, we discuss some fun conversation starters we love to use, the Olympics, and my chronic dehydration.

In this episode, I am joined by long-time friend Conrad Li. We talk about the pursuits of high paying jobs and how the Disney movie WALL-E may be a very real future. 

Dr. Herrick studies behavioral ecology and herpetology, and is particularly interested in social behavior and interspecific interactions; spatial and acoustic interactions between breeding ranid frogs. In this episode, we talk about some of the research she has done concerning bullfrogs and green frogs as well as some basics of biology.  

This episode with Mac was so fun to do. We talked about his journey from being an avid Star Trek fan and how that experience lead him into the amazing world of Shakespeare. Mac talks about his experiences of reading Shakespeare, watching Shakespeare, and even acting out Shakesperian plays. He decided to start his own Shakespearian company which is called "Elsewhere Shakespeare" and is based out of Richmond, Virginia. Mac's story is super cool and I encourage you to hear it from the man himself.

Frank is pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Connecticut. He is passionate about the functional morphology of birds and mammals. Frank is a super cool guy with an awesome story. In this episode, we talk about how Frank got interested in birds, his work experiences, and his road to UConn. 

In this episode, I am joined by my good friend Arvind Mohan. He is a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania and in this episode, we explore a plethora of topics such as online school, happiness/morality vs efficiency, loneliness, among others. 

In this episode, I am joined by my former high school English teacher along with my high school classmate, Adam. We explored what the true mission of an English teacher should be and some possibilities on how to get students to actually read the books assigned to them in school. Is there a need for literature in school? We also discussed the differences between teaching now and pre covid19.

In this episode, I am joined with Dr. Anne Oeldorf-Hirsch who is an associate professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Connecticut. She obtained her Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University. Her research interest is on the benefits of social media in terms of learning new information, civic engagement, and well-being. Specifically, her work focuses on the features of these communities that shape how we communicate with and through them. Her main line of research aims to understand the effects of the shift to engaging with news content via social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter on knowledge about and involvement in current events.

In this episode, I am joined with good friends Thomas Harris and Abel Marquette who are both in the Air Force. We delve into the topics of social interaction, mind over body, siblings, video games, and some fun storytelling. 

Dr. Munsch is an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Connecticut. Professor Munsch obtained her Ph.D. in sociology and Graduate Minor in feminist, gender, and sexuality studies from Cornell University. She also has a B.A. in English Language and Literature from the University of Virginia. In this episode, we discuss the flexibility bias which can be seen in the workplace and some environmental factors that play a role in infidelity.
