The guys celebrate the airing of the last live radio show by looking back, discussing aesthetic vs real spiritual fitness and prepping for the next phase of the What Now Show - podcast only. All of that, some favorite Top Ten lists, a remarkable Sensai Predicts the News and more on the "best hour in radio". Enjoy.
Matt & Chad spend an inordinate amount of time on the silliness that is Election 2016. They defend watching a Lifetime movie over the third debate and decry the obnoxious clickbait on social media. Also, they talk movies including the spectacular "The Accountant", the preview of "Logan" (with a free Under Cover recommendation) and why Chris Jackman is Hollywood's most likable conglomeration of stars. Enjoy!
Former University of Georgia basketball player, Terrance Woodbury, joins Ford on the show to talk about his basketball career. Terrance tells his first person account of the 2008 SEC Basketball Tournament. On the first night of the tournament, the Georgia Dome was struck by a violent tornado which left the facility unfit to house the rest of the tournament and left NCAA officials in a bind. Georgia entered the tournament with a 4-12 record and was counted out as a true contender for the title...what happened next, no one could have predicted.
The guys welcome singer/speaker and native of Hungary Csilla Muscan to the show to discuss her remarkable story. Born in Romania, raised under Communist rule before serving as a missionary and moving to Tennessee to pursue music, Csilla's story will blow you away. Plus, she learns as we all do from Mike's Top Ten. You even get to hear some of Csilla's music (you'll be glad you did).
In this episode, my dude Phillip Whitfield joins me to discuss the confluence of humility and confidence in the building blocks of manhood. Phillip is the Student Pastor at Gracepoint Church in Portland, TX and a fan of all things Texas A&M. He's also a funny guy. Enjoy.
Ford sits down with special guest, Jaxon Shipley to discuss all things football. Jaxon played football at The University of Texas for 4 years and most recently spent a year with the Arizona Cardinals. Listen in as Jaxon shares some stories and insight from his many years on the gridiron.
In this debut episode of "Be a Man", we introduce a segment tentatively called "Settle Down" and rail against something stupid (hint: it's politics). We then dive into the concept and value of really listening to views we don't necessarily share. We even use examples pulled straight from the news like the Colin Kaepernick story and more.
The guys welcome Crystal Castillo to hear her remarkable & inspiring story. If you or someone you love has ever experienced hardship or addiction (that would be everyone), this is for you. Plus, Mike shares some guy secrets with the female audience, the Sensai Predicts the News & much more in the best hour in radio.
After a work- & summer-imposed show exile, Matt & Chad return with a bang (& Sean Hannity's martial arts instructor). Pop culture & politics have never been more ridiculous so they have plenty to discuss including the Mary J Blige interview of Hillary Clinton, celebrity political endorsements, the platform & motto of their Wig Party candidacy, movie sequels that will never happen, broken segment promises & much, much more.
In this episode, Ford talks about why time seems to go by faster the older we get. He also encourages you to try new things and step out of your comfort zone. Finally, he shares a story with you about being casted for a role in a promotional video for Texas A&M University. All this and more on episode 4 of The World As We Know It.
