In Episode 63 of ‘The Mediocre Podcast’, the boys set their alarms early for the first Mediocre in the morning episode of the season. No one is much keen to talk football, but Alex puts his first player of the season on fat watch: Drake London, you’re on the clock. For this week’s Champion’s Corner, back-to-back league champ and GOAT, Producer Kendall, welcomes Splinter for a wide-ranging conversation culminating in the debut of SFUMATO’s first single “Devotion.” After the break, energy levels are on the rise before week 3 picks are made with a shocking outcome: the Stone Cold Lock of the Week is broken due to a moral dilemma involving Panthers' players.

In Episode 62 of ‘The Mediocre Podcast’, The Glaze Bros reunite as Will ‘self-relegated like a b*tch’ ScarBreezy and Alex spend upwards of an hour exchanging facials on air. Producer Kendall steps into co-host duties as Nic toils through those arduous first days of a house move, and things get off the rails early. Fatherhood leaves Alex a changed man…except when it comes to teaching his newborn girl the wonders of cannibalism. Way too much fantasy talk precedes a gathering of GOATs in the Champion’s Corner before Alex utters a phrase too savage to put into words here regarding a certain “list”. Week 3 predictions and additional glazing wrap up another mediocre episode.

Producer Kendall’s “Lock of the Week”: Alex over Kendall (1-0 in Picks, 1-1 in fantasy; back-to-back Champion)

In Episode 61 of ‘The Mediocre Podcast’, the boys welcome back NFL with a shockingly high amount of actual football talk. This leads to the first on-air bet of the season, where Alex bets Producer Kendall that Bryce Young will outscore Caleb 'Wilson' Williams in fantasy this regular season; loser makes custom socks round two. Likely with some sort of biscuit-related imagery on them. After discussing an eventful week 1 of the NFL and fantasy season, Producer Kendall uses the Champions Corner to remind league-newcomer Tom that he is in fact “Daddy’s Little Girl” until the champ is dethroned. Finally, in one of his most abhorrent outbursts in an already checkered-history of “things that probably shouldn’t come out of your mouth online”, Alex references the great Kobe Bean Bryant in a less than tasteful manner. Truly, a terrible moment in Mediocre history. Week 2 predictions round out what is sure to go down as a top 50 episode of all time.

In Episode 60 and the season 4 premiere of ‘The Mediocre Podcast’, the boys are SO back. Vibes are sky high as Alex discusses fatherhood before taking a shot of breast milk live on air. Really, that happens. Host Nic needs a diaper change as he continues to grapple with the emotional fallout of being mid at fantasy, and back-to-back league champ Producer Kendall kicks off this season’s Champion’s Corner by debuting the OnlyFAM album intro. With DR Draft Weekend right around the corner, the boys are buzzing; so is Alex after that shot of titty milk.

In episode 59 of "The Mediocre Podcast", the boys return for a special offseason episode demanded by the people. Host Nic and Producer Kendall welcome fan favorite Buck back to the pod to get a life update and hear Buck rationalize why Pittsburgh is actually a good place to live. A special Champion's Corner performance of the new OnlyFAM single "It's Not Gay" ushers in a new era of musical flair for the pod before the guys discuss a hot topic in FAM and society: Aliens. We're baaaack.

In Episode 58 and the season 3 finale of ‘The Mediocre Podcast’, Producer Kendall celebrates the first back-to-back championships in league history with a lyrical undressing of 2nd place finisher and definitely not above the Tetas, Peter; it’s not gay if it’s your bro. ZBreezy tops off the Trade Messiah with his first musical appearance on the pod before hosts Nic and Alex get on their knees for the champ in a season-finale reminiscent of those villa nights. Producer Kendall’s “Lock of the Week”: GOAT (6-10 in Picks, 11-6 in fantasy; back-to-back champion)

In Episode 57 of ‘The Mediocre Podcast’, Alex calls the league to action with a heartfelt plea to do away with relegation. In the spirit of Festivus, the guys participate in a group therapy session airing out their grievances and working towards a common goal: inclusivity and minimizing crash outs over fantasy. A sick Producer Kendall forgoes what is likely to be his final Champion’s Corner, instead crediting his Tetas’ inspirational and improbable return to the Fantasy Finals. Christmas traditions and a much-tighter-than-expected race for last place round out what some are calling the Mediocre Podcast’s “Come to Jesus” moment. Happy Holidays from the Mediocre boys!

Producer Kendall’s “Lock of the Week”: JT over Kendall (6-9 in Picks, 10-6 in fantasy; in the Finals)

In Episode 56 of ‘The Mediocre Podcast’, we welcome our first (and only) sponsor to the show: Ray with Manta Ray Networks. Obese French women and a questionable male-only hot tub soak rule this mediocre appearance, but things get spicy when the guys ask Ray a question on everyone’s mind: what’s the USVI barge scene like? Later on, Daddy Yanick announces he’ll never be able to sleep 8hrs again with an adoption update for the ages. With the playoffs upon the league, some pod members handle results better than others as host Nic melts down like Michael’s kid in 2 years. Congrats Michael and Alex, definitely keep your kids away from Nic and JT when they get released from fantasy prison.

In Episode 55 of ‘The Mediocre Podcast’, it’s do-or-die week for several members of FAM with playoff aspirations. Nic goes sober-curious on a recent trip to the USVI, while Alex questions why Nic wouldn’t take advantage of the ability to drink and drive down there. FAM After Dark is in full effect with Alex sharing his newfound coke habit before Producer Kendall waxes poetic with a stream-of-thought Champion’s Corner. The final segment includes nothing noteworthy whatsoever, definitely no major life-changing news from anyone. This is Rocket League! 

Producer Kendall’s “Lock of the Week”: Ryan over Kendall (6-7 in Picks, 8-6 in fantasy)

In Episode 54 of ‘The Mediocre Podcast’, fantasy football takes center stage as the guys go in on JT’s yoked team a la the side of Kevin Patullo’s house. With the margins for playoff spots thinning, every scenario is meticulously analyzed like Nic with players’ trade values (10+ hours/week, but he doesn’t care about fantasy). Twenty-five trade offers later, serial trade grapist TamBreezy sets the Champion’s Corner ablaze with a direct response to ScarBreezy’s copper-selling hit “The Red Button.” Many are calling it the best diss of all time! Alex defends his best-ever 88 on the golf course before the guys sign off on another steaming hot pile of (Michael’s team) episode. Nice shot!
