In this podcast we discuss our first book, as part of 'Off the Shelf' by MEDtalkx, featuring Mehran, Faheem and Zuber.
This book is about a surgeon’s experiences of using a checklist and encompassing examples from other professions including the aviation industry, construction industry as well as the world of business and other arenas. I thought this book would be a good example for inaugurating the book club as the back of the book mentions that checklists respond to everything from flu epidemics to avalanches. As I read this again going past the bookshelf I thought during this coronavirus pandemic there may well be lessons within the book which would be useful for all of us listening in to this book club today.
Please join us every last Sunday of the month (8pm GMT) live on our youtube channel MEDtalkx Podcast https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSrTJ9e0Rfr1RaTrzTIOM0w/
In this episode my father wished to share his views with the urdu speaking community about the coronavirus Covid-19. This is a simple message to support people manage the current epidemic.
