Why do narcissists want you to reach out first after a break up? It may have to do with their ego and need for validation. Maintaining no contact can protect you from further narcissistic behavior from a narcissist.

Narcissists are evolving, pretending to be empaths and even playing the victim. It's important to recognize these toxic behaviors in relationships. Don't be fooled by their false empathy.

You end up chasing after the narcissist. It happens, the relationship dynamic switches. At first the narcissist chases you, they wine you, they dine you, they love bomb you. Then, you end up chasing after them. Begging a narcissist to love you and become the person they were in the beginning.
