This first episode of The Mental Lens looks at the psychology of teenagers trying to understand their own identities by examining a scene from the Netflix series 'Young Royals'. The scene will be set, so there is no need to have watched the show, however there may be spoilers.

We will use the show as an example of Erik Erikson's stages of development which are sometimes used as guides or a framework to theorize about how or why an individual might be struggling in their life.
