November was a month full of traveling, and I finally get to share some of it with you! Plus, the busyness of November crashes right into the start of one of my favorite seasons, Advent, and with it comes a noticeable shift in focus.Β
As we begin to transition into winter, I'm taking time to name what matters and set my intentions toward not letting it race by. Let's talk about it. Pull up a chair πͺΒ
I'd love to hear from you . . .
1. What is your word/focus for this Advent/winter season?
2. What are you saying no to so that you can say yes to what matters?

Good intentions fall short when choosing to form new habits, even a gratitude habit! Instead, we need concrete handholds that we can place around our new habit that will empower us to see it through until it becomes effortless. That's what we're talking about today with Jenna Zint--the habit queen!Β
It's not about finding habits to incorporate; it's about naming the habits that are already forming us, and then choosing how we will be formed moving foward. Pull up a chair πͺΒ

I used to think the opposite of belief is simply unbelief--either you give mental consent with your mind or not, but according to John Bevere's book Bait of Satan, the Bible has given us the opposite of belief, and we've missed it. Pull up a chair, and let's talk about it.

I've always heard that a follower of Jesus is supposed to demolish strongholds in the mind, but is there such thing as a positive stronghold? Does that mean strongholds can be built, not just torn down? Pull up a chair.

School has started. The holidays are approaching. Sports are in full gear. The summer furniture needs to be brought in. Oh, and don't even get me started on finding time to read the three titles I'm juggling. I get it. It's a BUSY season! Circumstances don't exactly lend themself to taking time to rest or practice silence and solitude. So what do I do if my schedule just doesn't let up?Β

Before we forge forward, let's take a minute to reflect. There's been a lot going on in our nation and a lot of emotions running high. It feels like everything around me is best described as frantic. I believe as apprentices of Jesus, we've been called to a different rhythm in the midst of the storm. Let's talk about it.
Here's where we talked about it on my other podcast As We Grow:Β
