Jean from Minnesota shared a story of an unexpected opportunity to show mercy.  

Salif suffered for four years from a toothache!  Traditional healers told him his illness was caused by the “black wind,” a demon trying to enter his face. 

Laura was just 8 years old when her mother passed away.  She and her sisters lost contact with that side of the family.

Volunteering onboard our hospital ship is an exciting experience.  But it can be a little intimidating at first.
