Jorge Castro is a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy. He was diagnosed with a rare disease that attacks the liver. He needed a liver transplant … quickly. He was put on a transplant list, but the outlook was grim.

Missionary Jon Erikson brought 15 patients from remote areas of Guinea, West Africa, to our Mercy Ship.  Unfortunately, a 34-year-old woman named Seni had a facial tumor that had invaded her skull and needed longer-term treatment.
