    Do we ask each other about our levels of hydration too much ?  It's the go-to for every ailment ,"how much have you drunk today?"
    The handshake is reasserting itself as COVID is beaten back into submissions in Australia. Richard is not happy & analyses why the other options failed 
    Andrew analyses nothing ,isn't happy & has an alarming response to the greeting .
    The Victorian Premier has taken a tumble which leads Richard to suggest there are 2 types of people in the world .
    Richard has had an explosion in his life. The unthinkable has happened , his partner has listened to the episode which may have involved some deception ( Ep 35) .
    This is a game changer for both Richard & Andrew.
    Richard assures us all is well but a recent gift makes Andrew ask questions.
    Especially  as the conversation morphs into Richard using a flaming chain sword .
    For some reason Andrew then discusses funerals 
    We leave them as Richard brings up issues with his Apple Watch & Andrew delivers a brutal truth .

    Andrew is planning on cutting his hair - sure not a big deal, except..it is .
    Andrew's hair is long ,this has consequences which Richard helpfully explores.

    His long hair talk leads us to his Uni experiences. Andrew feels recent events have raised his status among his fellow students . Richard is not so sure.

    Richard begins a discussion on the nature of "Brownie Points" earned within a relationship. As he unburdens his soul we find out his terrible moral dilemma .
    Andrew helps , in the way that a Chaotic Neutral character would. 

    Possibly to ease the tension, Andrew explains how he has trained his dog. It maybe that the dog has trained him . You be the judge .

  • 34. Cultural minefield, Funeral Etiquette, Dog Shoe Update, Car Tyre Uni disaster, Tactic to bail you out at parties.

    Today we discuss etiquette & the awkward cultural moments that can arise with well meaning clods like Richard and Andrew.
    Andrew experienced some Big Trouble In a Little part of China . 
    Richard made a terrible cultural faux pas and learned a big lesson.
    Richard's partner managed to nearly destroy a poignant funeral 
    Richard calls it all part of learning to be an adult .
    He is now of the belief that when you put your foot in it ,stop. You're in quicksand, struggling will only make it worse.
     Andrew's advice is to double down .Andrew explains why .
    As part of his Uni , Andrew has made a film. It's fascinating but we realise he doesn't work well with others .Tragically ,he is also not getting on with his lecturers
    Richard helpfully points out the common denominator .

    Overeating clouds this week's episode as Richard has a run in with a giant pizza.

    This invites a discussion about the annoying aspects of craft beers, and how there's no reliable standard of the size of pizzas.  
    ( There's a brief sidetrack into Starbucks that is best not spoken of ) 

    Regular listeners will be delighted to get an update on the Dog Hair Jumper, which has now potentially morphed into a stylish vest. 

    The episode finishes with a flourish by listing some of the worst ideas for a stage musical, ever.

    In a refreshing change from Richard's history rants, Andrew manages to rant ( at length) about Star Trek uniforms.

    Somehow this leads us into Andrew confronted with a lot of nudity .Richard tries to help but is uncertain what is happening.

    Thankfully , the conversation swings back to Andrews potential new sport . Richard has some thoughts but clearly no real idea . Honestly ,he's just glad we are no longer dealing with nudity or Star trek uniforms.

    They go on to also discuss something Richard calls an " arms to arse ratio" and Space Force .
    It all makes some kind of sense by the end

  • 31. Cowboy Names, Twitch, Richard should do “ I'm A Celebrity “, SIRI, What’s the smallest job you can get someone in to do?

    The random question of "what's your cowboy name ? " appears & straight out of the gate Andrew tricks Richard in to a history "conversation", in which we learn more about crossbows & longbows than we ever cared to .

    There's an awkward pause as they both try to move on .

    Things get worse however when Andrew reveals his money making scheme , which is Richard playing games on Twitch for money.

    This plainly ridiculous idea devolves into Richard going on "I'm A Celebrity.." Spoiler ,he wont .

    Andrews argument that Richard's actual career bottom is already far below that show so why not do it  only serves to  give Andrew pleasure.

    Oddly ,we then discover what their cowboy names would be.

  • 30. Photos of your partner’s Exes, Gym Clothing in the heat, Trackie Dack Shame, Swedish Royal Family Insights.

    Richard has had a shaky week, his partner is going thru old photos - including those of her ex's 
    There is a discussion & Andrew is less than helpful.

    They move on to discuss the weather ,Andrew is uncertain of aspects of his work out clothing in the heat . Richard helps because he has spent far too long thinking about this .

    There's a terrifying confession from Richard. All of you will think less of him.

    Andrew's Uni study has not started well & this conversation inexplicably triggers Richard into a History rant on Sweden of all things.

    Early on , we are uncomfortable because Richard is just feeling so happy .

    He is able to explain what has caused him to spark joy . He has done a massive tidy of his garage and taken the excess out to the nature strip for hard rubbish collection  .
    Unfortunately he feels the need to spruik his rubbish to folk who stop to have a look and takes it personally if they reject the stuff he has already called rubbish .
    He asks if that's normal. You and I already know the answer .
    There are also a lot of Jawa references.
    Andrew is back at University & for several reason which are explored , this makes Richard even happier .
    When Andrew announces that inspired by Richards fitness journey  he is planning to take up a sport the question of what sport takes Richard's happiness to unprecedented levels & he has to stop .
