In this week's Torah Reading we are introduced to the sin of "lashon hara"-a sin most of us commit on a regular basis, but most of us don't realize that when we do it, we're committing a sin. And the penalty for that sin is pretty severe as we discover in this installment of TMTO. Shalom and Welcome.

We continue our survey of Paul's hard to understand writings by discussing what the apostle meant by "being under the Law." This is one of the most important posts we've done to date in this series. In our exploration and discussion of Paul's more challenging and difficult to understanding passages, our studies take us to Romans 1:26-27. Here Paul addresses the issue and problems associated with homosexuality (i.e., the LGBTQ Community), which seems to run contrary to the popular-modern acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (Rom 1:16-17 KJV)

These are some of the most well known doctrinal statements to have been written by the Apostle Paul. Yet, there remains much debate over what exactly the apostle was truly trying to convey to the Romans. What did Paul mean that the “just” are to live by faith?” Did he mean that commandment keeping is no longer a requirement for God’s people?

Furthermore, what did Paul mean that Yah's righteousness is revealed in the Gospel from faith to faith?
