We continue our examination of Paul's hard to understand passages by discussing Romans 2:17-18. Here we see the apostle begin to sketch out the portrait of a religious Jew, the universal spiritual application of which cannot be overlooked by every disciple of Yeshua Messiah. Shalom and welcome.

The Apostle Paul makes a bold claim that the Gospel belonged to him in Romans 2:16. Was Paul trying to assert himself as the sole leader of the True Faith once delivered? Was he just being rude and arrogant? Or could he simply have been saying to his readers something entirely different about the gospel that he preached and taught?
