The second annual Hoopfest celebration kicks off Friday in Detroit's Northwest Goldberg neighborhood. Daniel Washington, executive director and founder of Northwest Goldberg Cares, joins "The Metro" to share more about the three-day community event. Also, Tammy Black, founder of the Manistique Community Treehouse in Detroit's Jefferson-Chalmers neighborhood, joins the show to discuss her goal of creating more community spaces.
