On this week's show, the M9S crew look back at this all-time great Pay Per View from the World Wrestling Federation. Canadian Stampede is an absolute riot and the fellas give it the highest honour possible: a glowing Sleepover review.
A few weeks back, the Sleepover did their third ever Grab Bag Music challenge, where MEGAMIXDOTCOM chose the 15 topics. This week Sliiiiip is at the helm and the big winner in all of this are you lucky listeners, because a lot of fun ensues.
This week, the pals celebrate the U.S. Thanksgiving weekend by reviewing a Survivor Series Pay Per View. This time around, they go back to 1996, which features the debut of the Rock, a fantastic Bret Hart/Steve Austin match, an interesting main event, and a whole lot of junk.
The pals talk about Sliiiiip's recent trip to Ottawa and his experience at a Gatineau Olympiques hockey game while MEGAMIXDOTCOM discusses a Canadian television tournament currently taking place online. Then they review Happy Gilmore, a mediocre comedy from 1996 that they enjoyed way too much at the time.
This week, your podcasting chums participated in the third edition of their super popular Grab Bag Music Challenge. MEGAMIXDOTCOM chose 15 topics for songs, and then he and Sliiiiip both scavenged to find a fitting list of tracks. Enthralling!
This week, the M9S crew reviews yet another episode of the WWF's Saturday Night’s Main Event. This time, they review a pivotal show from March 11, 1989. They also spend some time before the review talking about ComiCon and Halloween, so make sure to enjoy some tasty candy while listening!
The pals had planned on reviewing two episodes of Saturday Night's Main Event on this week's show, but they talked so much at the start of the show about John Dunsworth, Gord Downie and the Winnipeg Jets that they ended up only reviewing one episode. Take a listen as they break down a special Halloween episode of SNME from 1985.
The Halloween madness continues, this time with one of the worst Pay Per Views of all-time, WCW'’s atrocious Halloween Havoc 1998. The unbelievably awful Hogan/Warrior II match is just the icing on this shit flavoured cake. It's three hours of total garbage and your podcasting pals are reviewing every second!
With the night of tricks and/or treats rapidly approaching, the crew decides to review a terrible Halloween-themed wrestling show. It's WCW Halloween Havoc 1991, which features the amazing CHAMBER OF HORRORS match. A spooky time is had by all, so don't miss out!
This week is another simple one. The Sleepover crew talks about songs from 2004, which they believe was a pretty good year for music. Does it make for a pretty good show? Who knows!
