The Mick Lav Podcast

One of footballs toughest debates; who was the best player between Paul Scholes, Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard? Well in this episode I enlisted the help of five different guests to put their points across and argue who they felt was the better player. It feels like we may never truly arrive at a conclusion and that this debate will go on forever. What do you think?

Sticking with the trend of covering every and all sports - here is the Mick Lav Podcast version of a Formula 1 season preview! DISCLAIMER: WE ARE NOT EXPERTS! I think that goes without saying but just incase you came here expecting a wealth of knowledge, then I'm sorry to disappoint!

In this episode I'm joined by my two brothers and two extra guests (Aisling & Morgan) later in the show to discuss our thoughts and feelings ahead of the new season!

This episode I am joined by my longtime friend and centre-back partner Adam Shanks. Myself and Shanksy go way back - having played football all over Mid-Ulster with each other and forming a formidable partnership in that time. We recall stories of the highs and the lows of our time playing together, funny stories we remember from the dressing room and reminisce on our title winning success. We also talk about our time together in school and our favourite stories from back then. And, as always, we answer the many questions that were sent in!

Hi Folks! In this episode I am joined by Shayne Lavery. Shayne is a footballer for Linfield and Northern Ireland. We know each other from school and in this episode we recap his journey from Lisburn League football to leading the line for the biggest club in the Irish League. Covering a range of topics we talk about: His move to Everton, the loan spell at Falkirk before returning home; Whilst also finding time to reminisce on a few stories from our time together in school. Shayne answers your questions too!

This episode I was joined by one half of the Deckchair & Yumz and Best of the Best Podcasts - Conor Keys. Conor is a Tyrone native who is a stand-up comedian and podcaster. We talk about the success of the D&Y Podcast and his career in comedy - We also sneak in a brief chat about sports and finish off by answering your questions!

This episode was so much fun! Discussing (And sometimes scoffing at) people's unpopular opinions! Everything from TV & Film to Food and Sports gets talked about. I'm also super thankful to my three guests for this Episode: Michael, Ryan & Aodhan - we had a lot of fun debating and going back and forth on topics they are very passionate about.
