Something a bit different this week as the lads manage to get not one but TWO top class jockeys on the podcast in the form of David Egan & Sabine Osborne as they discuss their careers to date in racing and what lies ahead for them in their blossoming careers. They also let all our listeners in on a horse to follow each for the upcoming flat season so listen out for those. 👂
In the second part of the podcast, the tipping coverage includes races from both codes of the sport with the Ayr Scottish National covered which encourages bold selections from both the lads and then over the Irish sea for some exciting flat action at Leopardstown in the form of two Guineas trials and the Ballysax all covered by the lads including one selection that they both agree on (it doesn’t happen often)!
At The Midas Touches, we continue to appreciate your ongoing support and thank you, as ever, for listening to the podcast. Please like, share, and generally spread the word if you’re enjoying the show as your recommendations can really help us continue to grow. We hope to see you all back here for the next episode.
XOXO,
The Midas Touches
Welcome back listeners, we hope you all enjoyed Cheltenham Festival week as much as The Midas Touches did (you definitely did if you joined the lads in backing Constitution Hill at big prices 😉).
WE’RE BACK AND IT DOESN’T GET MUCH BIGGER THAN THIS!!
In the UK, one person a day commits suicide from gambling addiction related issues… it’s a dark cloud that lingers over the sport that we love and an issue that desperately needs addressing.
You can’t keep the lads away for too long and after a fruitful weekend in Edinburgh they’re back with a brand new episode of The Midas Touches.
Hold on to your hats people because this week the lads have some alternative content for you revolving around the breaking news that Boris Johnson has been sacked...?! Tune in to find out what the hell is going on in this episode and to find out who T&C like on the Saturday card at Cheltenham where they’ve picked a funky forecast bet for you all 🤑
After a less than impressive tipping performance from guest Ben Curry last week, the lads have had to draft in the big guns for this one… cue 3-time Champion Jockey Oisin Murphy who’s giving his expert insight on three races from this weekend’s action at Lingfield.
He also answers your questions that you sent in including some VERY interesting horses to follow for the flat season and shares a good tactic for dealing with any of those keyboard warriors out there.
We hear you quite like the weekly recap so that’s in there again too and so is the lads thoughts on Oisin’s selections.
We hope you enjoy; this was a great one to make. Please follow and share if you’re feeling kind and, as always, thanks for listening 💓
XOXO,
Races covered (all Saturday):
1.20 Lingfield

🎄 !! Merry Christmas friends of the podcast !! 🎄
What better way to spend Christmas than with a glass of champagne, a mince pie, and listening to Tris & Charlie run you through the Boxing Day action from Kempton and Wetherby?!
And what’s more, the boys have only gone and got you an early Christmas present in the form of ITV Racing’s very own Oli Bell who comes bearing gifts himself in the form of a 25/1 shot.
As this will be the last episode of The Midas Touches in 2021, we wanted to thank you all for your continued support of the show as we’re nothing without you guys! Keep an eye out for more great content coming your way in 2022…
